Michael Fassbender Brings Shame to London! (PHOTOS)

Continuing his quest for world domination, Michael Fassbender, along with the film's director Steve McQueen, brought Shame to the BFI London Film Festival for a gala screening. Yesterday we brought you the first trailer for the film, in which Fassbender plays a 30-something New Yorker, addicted to sex and looking for love in all the wrong places. (His sexual escapes take him all over the city, including  a room in The Standard Hotel with its floor to ceiling windows.) Brandon's life is further complicated by the arrival of his younger sister, Sissy played by Carey Mulligan, who's got her own baggage.

This is Fassy's second film with McQueen (for whom it's his second film period) and it was recently announced that they would reteam for a third time with McQueen's next outing. Twelve Years a Slave, based on the autobiographical memoir of Solomon Northrup, tells the story of a man (Chiwetel Ejiofor) living in New York during the mid-1800s who is kidnapped and sold into slavery in the deep south.  Ejiofor and Fassbender. Can I just say this is a combination that I am VERY much looking forward to seeing?

Shame opens in NY & LA on December 2. Enjoy the pics!
