This version of Snow White certainly appears "fairy-tale like" with it's primary colors and extravagantly elegant costuming. Armie Hammer certainly looks 'princely' and Lily Collins (daughter of Phil) looks like her Princess Snow was modeled after the Disney version. Is it me or does Nathan Lane's Brighton remind anyone of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast? Oh well. I think I'm going to like this. (I have to see it if only to find out why Snow has a swan on her head.) Director Singh got his start in music videos (REM's "Losing My Religion") before transitioning to film (The Cell, Immortals) so he certainly has an eye toward sumptuous visuals. Relativity's version of Snow White, a dark twist on the classic fairy tale, in which Snow White and the seven dwarfs look to reclaim their destroyed kingdom, comes out first, on March 16 2012.
