Javier Bardem has finally confirmed (to ABC's "Nightline") that he will indeed be playing the villain (or A villain) in Sam Mendes' forthcoming new James Bond film, now tentatively titled Skyfall. Bond 23, as it is otherwise known, goes before the cameras next month (supposedly. I'll believe it when Mendes yells "action!")
In other Bond news, Tom Ford, he of the smoldering good looks and the impeccable stubble and the even more impeccable men's clothing, shoes, accessories and fragrances, will once again be suiting up Daniel Craig for the new film. Oh sweet baby jeebus does that fill me with bliss, sartorial and otherwise. Ford, as you may or may not remember, also provided Craig's look in Quantum of Solace. *shudder* Craig, in my humble opinion is perfect for Ford and often sports the label on red carpets and otherwise (including that gorgeous cardigan from the Quantum premieres in 08.)
In still more Bond news, Adele has also confirmed her participation. She'll be providing a new song, adding her name to the pantheon of greats like Shirley Bassey, Carly Simon, Paul McCartney, Duran Duran, Sheena Easton (cough) Alicia Keys & Jack White and Chris Cornell who have all recorded a song for a James Bond soundtrack.
I think, to celebrate, this calls for pics of Daniel Craig in Tom Ford.

This is unbelievably adorable. White Collar's Matt Bomer is cast in the upcoming (and much-anticipated by pigs such as myself) movie Magic Mike where he will play a stripper. This of course requires one to dong a thong for the role.
Sweet Matt Bomer put the thong on and had to call in wardrobe because he thought it didn't fit properly and needed adjusting:
"The first time I tried it, I put it on wrong and my junk didn’t fit in it," he told MTV News. "I had to call a wardrobe person in [and say], 'Something is wrong with my thong, you guys. I think we are gonna have to figure this out.’ And they're like, 'Yeah your legs are in the wrong holes.’"
'Your legs are in the wrong holes' That had me laughing so much. That is adorable. Imagine what that looked like? But wrong holes or not, Matt is having a blast on the set with fellow hotties: Channing Tatum, True Blood's Joe Manganiello and Alex Pettyfer:
"It was criminal man, we had a blast. There’s a new band of brothers in town," Bomer said. "There's something about having to throw a thong on in front of other people that just instantly forms an ensemble. We had a great time. I really think there hasn’t really been a movie like this before, and we did it all on a G-string budget … I'm excited to see what people think.”
Ha ha!! G-string budget. I love it. He thinks he's excited? He has no idea!

Yesterday we told you how Lindsay Lohan was back in court for a hearing and had her probation revoked pending a hearing in November. She was taken away in handcuffs because she failed to do her court-appointed community work. So the judge told her she was to start work at the morgue.
Apparently Lindsay was hell-bent on showing the judge she was serious and was going to start her court-appointed morgue work the next day (today).
Lindsay was late. Lindsay apparently couldn't find the front door to the morgue. She was 20 minutes late and as a result was turned away. Her publicist spoke to TMZ and said Lindsay's tardiness:
"a combination of not knowing what entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival."
Yeah, because who would have possibly anticipated the media would be there, right? While not finding an entrance isn't necessarily a lie, when you are in the position Lindsay is in, wouldn't you PLAN OUT your morning a bit better? I mean being late and not fulfilling your court-appointed duties could put you back in jail for a long time.
Lindsay has until her November 2 hearing to do a minimum of 16 hours at the morgue. This means crack pipes down at 9 p.m., lights out at 9:15 and hit the sack at 9:30 so that you are up bright and early. It's not rocket science folks, it's just good planning. That is all.
That mug shot is number 6 for Lindsay. To take a trip back to the memory lane of her other mug shots, visit TMZ.

"Oh how I've missed you Holmes."
The above line is spoken by Jude Law's Dr. Watson, and said rather sarcastically I might add, but it's certainly true of me. I am eagerly looking forward to Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, the follow-up to his 2009 film, Sherlock Holmes. Robert Downey Jr, of course, reprises his role as the 'world's greatest detective'. In this one, Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick, Dr. Watson join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest adversary, Professor Moriarty, played by Jared Harris.
Here's trailer number two for the film. It brings us the action, adventure and intrigue, as well as disguises, explosions and witty repartee that we saw in the first trailer, but more.
Also back for more are Eddie Marsan as Inspector Lestrade, Geraldine James as Mrs. Hudson, Kelly Reilly as Mary Morstan and Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler. Adding to the fun are Stephen Fry as Mycroft Holmes and Noomi Rapace as a gypsy called Sim. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows opens everywhere on December 16.
