Henry Cavill All Oiled and Sweaty…

Henry Cavill All Oiled and Sweaty...

…okay I need a moment….

I'm back. Well now! There are eight new stills from Tarsem Singh's Immortals now online, showcasing a half naked Henry Cavill….and some other people. Alright, alright. The other people are Isabel Lucas, Kellan Lutz (with some sort of weird wire insect on his head) and Stephen Dorff. But, seriously, who notices when someone saw fit to dip Cavill in motor oil so that it clings to each individual ab in his eight-pack?

The story involves King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) and his Heraklion army that are terrorizing ancient Greece in search of the Epirus, a legendary lost bow. If he finds it, Hyperion will be able to overthrow the Gods of Mt. Olympus and rule the world.

Theseus (Cavill), a stonemason, vows to avenge the death of his mother, killed in a raid upon his village. The Oracle, Phaedra (Frieda Pinto) tells him of her visions of his future which portend that he is the key to stopping Hyperion's rampage and in fulfilling his destiny he will prevail in a final battle for the future of mankind.

Sounds pretty high-brow but I'm betting it'll be as much visceral fun as 300 was. Immortals opens 11-11-11.   Check out the stills and then check out even more images of shirtless Cavill, this time all sweaty and bearded on location as The Man of Steel. You're welcome.

Muppets Rule! There’s a New Trailer Too!

It's The Muppets! On a Poster!

Love the Muppets! Yayyyy! I want more Muppets and I want them NOW! I'm a fool for The Muppets, I must admit, even the weird ones like the precursors to The Dark Crystal that appeared on Saturday Night Live back in the dark ages. "Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas" is my absolute favorite Christmas special ever! So, am I stoked about a new Muppet movie?? You bet I am. You're never too old for Muppets!

A brand new trailer has dropped for their new film, aptly titled, The Muppets and after all of the wacky and ingenious parody trailers, this one offers the best look yet at the actual film. It looks completely charming.

The plot find the Muppets having to reunite after many years leading separate lives and with the help of three fans, strive to save their old theater from a greedy oil tycoon. Sounds like tons of "muppet-y" felt-covered fun!

The Muppets opens in theaters in the US and Canada on November 23 and on 10 February in the UK and stars Jason Segal and Amy Adams as well as half of Hollywood. As Animal says, "Watch the movie! Watch the movie!"

Ellen DeGeneres’ HILARIOUS Spoof With Keith Urban (VIDEO)

Ellen DeGeneres' HILARIOUS Spoof With Keith Urban (VIDEO)

I LOVE Ellen DeGeneres and I lust after Keith Urban so to see Ellen in a long blonde wig getting all sexy on Keith Urban for his 'Phoenix' fragrance is just such a treat and so hysterical. But really how different is what she's doing to Keith Urban from what you all would like to do to Keith Urban, right?

The scent Phoenix is his fragrance, but the spoof is not an actual commercial (duhhh like you needed me to explain that). What a great sport Keith Urban is. And sexy. Did I mention sexy? I'm going to watch this a few more times.

Enjoy!

Rolling Stones Classic Ed Sullivan DVD Giveaway!

Rolling Stones Classic Ed Sullivan DVD Giveaway!

The Rolling Stones have recently released a DVD of their performances on the Ed Sullivan show that one lucky viewer of ineedmyfix.com will win!

It's a 2 DVD set that features:

  • The Rolling Stones making their triumphant return to the Ed Sullivan stage on May 2, 1965, performing an early original composition by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards — the Top 10 hit “The Last Time”; a rendition of the Willie Dixon blues classic “Little Red Rooster”; a cover of Solomon Burke’s “Everybody Needs Somebody To Love”; and closing out the show — the rarely performed instrumental homage to Chess Records, “2120 South Michigan Avenue.”
  • Their February 13, 1966, Ed Sullivan Show appearance, presented in gorgeous CBS color, performing their No. 1 smash hit “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” against a backdrop of screaming fans and a touching rendition of their hit “As Tears Go By.”  Performed as a duet, the song features the vocals of Mick Jagger and the soft chords of Keith Richards’ acoustic guitar.  They end this Sullivan appearance with their newest hit, the manic “19th Nervous Breakdown.”
  • The Rolling Stones returning to the Ed Sullivan stage on September 11,1966, after being chased by a mob of fans down Broadway following the dress rehearsal, with a unique performance of their No. 1 hit “Paint It, Black” with Brian Jones sitting and playing the signature riff on his sitar; their hit “Lady Jane,” featuring Jones on dulcimer, and the band showcases their versatility by closing the show with their smash Top 10 hit “Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadows?”
  • The Rolling Stones final appearance on the Ed Sullivan stage with founding member Brian Jones was on January 15, 1967, performing their No. 1 hit “Ruby Tuesday” which was followed by their now historic version of “Let’s Spend The Night Together” with the lyrics changed to “Let’s Spend Some Time Together” by CBS network’s standards and practices department.  This was a memorable moment in the annals of TV censorship.   In true Stones’ fashion, the chorus is defiantly delivered with a sarcastic roll of Mick Jagger’s eyes as he looks into the camera and lets the audience at home know he’s fully aware of the absurdity of the situation.

This is history kittens! And you have a chance to possess such an historical rock and roll moment!! It's the ROLLING STONES! Here's a trailer of some of what you will be viewing:

If you don't win this contest you can order this 2 DVD set at Amazon. It's available now. And as well on November 1, 2011 SOFA Entertainment will release Six Ed Sullivan Shows starring The Rolling Stones (DELUXE EDITION).
