Uh Oh! I’m Getting…HAPPY FEET 2!

Uh Oh! I'm Getting...HAPPY FEET 2!

I don't suppose anyone remembers the Steve Martin routine where he'd spontaneously yell "Uh oh! I'm getting happy feet!", do they? I guess I'm just old, but I do and that's what I think of whenever I think of the movie Happy Feet and its new sequel Happy Feet 2. Who doesn't love penguins, even or especially animated penguins?.

Happy Feet 2 opens on November 18 in Canada and the US (just in time for Thanksgiving vacation here in the States) and on 2 December in the UK and we've got a bunch of new images to share.  Happy Feet 2 continues the story of Mumble, who now has a son, Erik, who is struggling to realize his talents in the Emperor Penguin world. Meanwhile, Mumble and his family and friends discover a new threat to their home — one that will take everyone working together to save them.  Elijah Wood returns as Mumble, with Erik being voiced by Elizabeth Daily of "Rugrats" fame. Robin Williams, Hank Azaria, Sophia Vergara, Brad Pitt, Pink, Hugo Weaving, Common, Anthony LaPaglia, John Goodman, Ray Winstone and Matt Damon round out the vocal cast.

Beyonce Is Due in February

Beyonce Is Pregnant PHOTO

Beyonce 30, surprised and delighted the world when she showed us her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV VMA awards in August and it had us all wondering when is she due? Well she's informed us that she and Jay-Z are expecting their bundle of joy in February which makes her about 5 months pregnant. She shares how making the decision to have a baby has changed her life:

"[Being pregnant] already has changed my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, all of my twenties," she said. "I just feel like it's time and I'm very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human can have."

"I think because I've accomplished a lot of things for myself and I really know who I am, I didn't rush into anything," she explained. "If there's any time, right now is the time, and I'm so happy."

There are some things in life that remain to be seen, but Beyonce being an incredible mother is not one of them. That is completely predictable. She will rock as a mother. I can't wait for her.

David Boreanaz Says Having An Affair With Rachel Uchitel Strengthened His Marriage

David Boreanaz Says Having An Affair With Rachel Uchitel Strengthened His Marriage

David Boreanaz admitted to his wife of 10 years, Jaime Bergman, that in 2010 he cheated on her with (who else) Rachel Uchitel (thank christ her vagina is off the market) and says that in the long run it made things more solid in his marriage:

"In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive," the 42-year-old actor explains. "There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you."

Yes, if by demon he means his penis I concur. Nothing like giving your penis the blame for everything, right? While I understand that these things happen and I have read where they can strengthen a marriage, I can't help but wonder a couple of things: why talk about it now, and would he be as forgiving if his wife did to him what he did?

He says marriages go through fabulous and not-so-fabulous times (of course any relationship does) and doesn't believe in giving up:

"Do I believe in giving up?"  "No, I don't. I'm a fighter. I'm a lover."

If I'm reading between the lines he's forcing his wife to be in the marriage. Does she believe in giving up or is she drugged up in compliance some where? Who else would ask these hard-hitting questions but yours truly?

In all of this (mind you I'm just reading a snippet from US Weekly) I don't hear anything about how his wife feels about it. I'd love to hear what she has to say on the subject. Who cares what he says. He's the one with the demon penis.

If my husband screwed Rachel Uchitel I would have one question: what is her workout routine and does she moisturize daily?

UK Trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s Haywire!

UK Trailer for Steven Soderbergh's Haywire!

It's been awhile since we talked about Haywire. It's all Michael Fassbender, all the time this movie season and I have no problem with that whatsoever. In addition to A Dangerous Method and Shame, both of which are earning him rave reviews already, he has Haywire, Steven Soderbergh's action film, coming down the pipe.

Now granted, Haywire is really all about female MMA star Gina Carano and Fassbender does get the crap beat out of him, by a GIRL, but I want to see it anyway. The above is a new poster (actually a riff on the old one), but at least we know who Carano's Mallory is sitting on. Poor Fassy. He probably would have enjoyed that any other time.

There's a new trailer out now, too. Again, a riff on the old one, this trailer was cut for the UK market and it's not much different than the domestic trailer. I do think if you're jonesing for a good actioner, this is gonna fit the bill.

Haywire stars, in addition to Fassbender and Carano (whose only other credit is 2009's Blood and Bone which, aside from Kuwait and Lebanon, went straight to dvd), Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum, Antonio Banderas, Michael Douglas, Bill Paxton and Mathieu Kassovitz. It opens in the US and the UK on January 20.

New Images from Melancholia Now With More Kiefer Sutherland!

New Images from Melancholia Now With More Kiefer Sutherland!

Here are some new images from Lars von Trier's apocalyptic drama, Melancholia, starring Kirsten Dunst, Alexander Skarsgard, Kiefer Sutherland, Charlotte Gainsbourg and John Hurt. The director has described his film as a "beautiful movie about the end of the world".

Here's the synopsis: Justine (Dunst), a woman suffering from an extreme case of clinical depression, celebrates her marriage with a extravagant reception that is marred by bickering family members, leaving the bride feeling withdrawn. The following morning Justine notices a planet, with no orbit of its own, hurtling toward Earth. And as the newlyweds are helpless against Justine's depression ruining their marriage, the entire wedding party can do nothing but freak out and watch as the world comes to an end.

Yahoo's got an exclusive new MOTION poster for the film, with a snippet of music as well, that is very cool. You have to head over there to see it.

Already available from VOD, Melancholia opens in theaters in NY and LA (Oscar run!) on November 11.
