Young Adult is director Jason Reitman's first film since Up in the Air and it reunites him with his Juno screenwriter, Diablo Cody. It stars Charlize Theron as Mavis Gary, a former prom queen; you know, the girl who was too popular, too pretty and more often than not, way too bitchy to live. She's a semi-successful writer of teen literature who, following a divorce, returns to her hometown to relive her glory days and attempt to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). When returning home proves more difficult than she thought, Mavis forms an unusual bond with a former classmate (Patton Oswalt) who hasn’t quite gotten over high school, either.

Frankly, I like the sound of this. I think Diablo Cody has probably been able to amp up the sharp dialogue and the snark we first got a taste of in Juno. Despite the title, these are adults and not teens, after all. Young Adult also stars Elizabeth Reaser and J.K. Simmons will open in limited release December 9th and expand nationwide a week later, on December 16th in the US and 10 February in the UK.

George Clooney makes my lady parts break out into song and dance. I'm starting to have it real bad for this handsome, confirmed bachelor who was in New York yesterday promoting his film Ides of March that stars not only him but Ryan Gosling.

George went to visit David Letterman earlier in the day where they talked about Vera Farmiga's ass among other things, but also how Walter Cronkite visited George at his Italian Villa and of course regardless of age, George pulled a prank on him.

Seriously who does a girl have to bang in order to snag an invite to George's villa? The video is quite funny. It makes me love George a little bit more. I feel a restraining order coming on.

Tarsem Singh appears to be going the more traditional route for his Untitled Snow White Project. This is your first look at Julia Roberts as the 'Evil Queen' and she looks just like a fairy tale; beautiful on the outside, beautiful enough to be believable when the mirror tells her she is in fact the fairest in the land until that inevitable day when she isn't, and with an malevolent twinkle in her eye.

While this does promise to be a dark twist on the classic fairy tale, in which Snow White and the seven dwarfs look to reclaim their destroyed kingdom, unlike Rupert Sanders' version starring Kristen Stewart, it seems that Lily Collins will not be wearing armor nor fighting battles. And the dwarves appear to be played by…wait for it…dwarves. (Although Little People is the correct term. The actors are Jordan Prentice, Joey Gnoffo, Sabastian Saraceno, Martin Klebba, Mark Provinelli, Ronald Lee Clark and Danny Woodburn). No word yet if any of them are grumpy, happy or sleepy.

This is Relativity's version of the battling Snow White films. (Remember last week, I told them the ball was in their court in terms of getting the publicity machine cranked up. I choose to believe these pics are a direct result of my challenge. We all have our delusions.) The film stars, in addition to Collins and Roberts, Armie Hammer as the Prince, Nathan Lane, Mare Winningham, Michael Lerner and Sean Bean as the King *swoon*.  Tarsem Singh's Untitled Snow White Project (which is in post-production, they need to come up with a title, stat) will be released March 16 (which is before the June 1 release of that other movie) Enjoy the pics!

Rihanna kills me. When she isn't touching herself provocatively at her concerts, she's riding a freaking subway (or the tube as they say in England) to her concert! Imagine you are taking the tube to her concert and look over your shoulder and there RiRi is. How surreal is that?

She was only too happy to pose for pictures with fans on the Jubilee line and one fan, Maria O'Keeffe took to Twitter:

‘I met Rihanna on my way home. Told her she was crazy for taking the tube. 

'She said “Dunno how you guys do it”.'

She had a huge entourage with her so if you're wondering if she was traveling alone, it is RiRi afterall, right? We've got the pictures from that concert where she got personal and intimate on stage.
