Animal lovers and vegans Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi are putting their money where their mouths (and tummies) are and investing in an all animal-free vegan restaurant with rocker Chrissie Hynde and producer Steve Bing.

The restaurant will be located in the San Fernando Valley area and specifically on Ventura Boulevard. The chef that catered their wedding Tal Ronnen will be responsible for the restaurant's menu. 

No word on when this restaurant is set to open. It would be fabulous if they parlayed this venture into a chain of restaurants around the world. 

For those of you who are vegan or are interested in going vegan, Ellen is seriously committed to this and has started a website Going Vegan With Ellen that shares recipes and helpful tips.  She has a section of famous vegans and a lot of them have said they lost 20 pounds when they stopped eating meat. That's pretty motivating isn't it?

David M. Rosenthal's Janie Jones is the story of a young girl who has been abandoned by her former-groupie, currently junkie mother after first informing a fading rock star that she is his daughter. Keeping in mind there's nothing new under the sun (this does sound like last year's Somewhere) and it's all about the delivery, I have high hopes for this.

Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years' is the first song of the Breaking Dawn soundtrack to get a video premiere. What an appropriate song for this movie! The music video shows Christina but also shows clips of Breaking Dawn's wedding between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan as well as the honeymoon!

What a beautiful song and video. If you are feeling the slightest bit hormonal or melancholy you may want to grab some tissues. Christina told THR that she wrote this song after screening Breaking Dawn:

“I cried the whole time, then I went home and wrote the song about Edward and Bella and their love affair. It's probably the most romantic, lovey-dovey song I've ever written.”

In preparation for the release of Breaking Dawn, Christina will take part in a 'tour'  that features other members of the film (Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz). It will run from November 7 – 11 and hit Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Salt Lake City. She will perform during three of the 5 dates.  

This video and song is going to whip the Twihards into a frenzy. It really is quite beautiful

The other day we offered a sneak peek into Beyonce's new single Party featuring J. Cole. Well today we have the full video and it's really kind of cool.  

Beyonce is rocking tons of different looks in the video. My two favorites are her cooking up some eggs in a trailer (I just don't picture her to cook) and then mowing the lawn in a fabulous outfit in the evening. I definitely don't picture Beyonce mowing the lawn, ever.

Earlier this week Michael Lohan was arrested for alleged domestic violence against girlfriend Kate Major. Well I guess he wanted to surpass daughter Lindsay in the number of mugshots accumulated department and has gone and got himself arrested again.

He was arrested for trying to contact Kate Major and when he tried to escape he jumped from a third floor balcony into a tree. What a knob. 

Police went to Kate's apartment where she said Michael kept calling her (part of his release conditions of the arrest earlier this week was to have no contact with Kate). While the police were there Michael called. The police felt he was a threat and arrested the tree hugger.

I have lit some candles and am praying to whomever is listening that someone, some how got a photo of Michael hanging in a tree. That would totally make my day.

Less than a month away and we will be seeing Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner et al up on the big screen when Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 hits theatres.

In the meantime we have all that time to drool over pictures of Robert Pattinson and (so far) Ashley Greene promoting Breaking Dawn all over the world. Today's pictures and video come from their press conference in Belgium.

At the press conference Robert says he is nothing like the Edward Cullen character and that Edward is way too controlling:

Girls often say that Edward’s ‘sooo perfect,’ but he’s not,” Rob, 25, “I do not like people who try to exert control in a relationship, when there is an imbalance. This is very wrong and very strange. Fortunately, he finally gives up and he tries not to boss Bella around.”

“I can not say that I am similar to Edward,” Rob said. “From the beginning, the relationship between Edward and Bella is complicated; there is always danger against which they must fight. He thinks far too much, which doesn’t really make him lighthearted. That’s not how I am at all!”

You know that is very mature of him. I have to give him props for that and to be honest it's a turn-on because it shows how secure he is. That's so freaking hot. Please bite my neck (or anything else you would like) Edward. Please?
