Michael Fassbender Needs To Stop Looking at Me Like That
If anyone’s tired of my 'shameless' drooling over the Fassinator, look away because here comes more. (I know you’re all still with me.) Michael Fassbender turned on the charm, the shark smile and probably a lot of women Thursday night at the Mann Chinese Theater in LA as Fox Searchlight, the AFI Fest and Audi sponsored a screening of Shame (which explains why Fassy had to stand next to the shiny black car and have his picture taken). The director, Steve McQueen, was along for the show, and looks to be wearing some variation on a kilt and a samurai Hakama, with a plaid blazer (dig those red shoes) lest anyone think all of the accolades and attention have gone to his head and forget that he’s an artist first and always an iconoclast.
Co-stars James Badge Dale and Nicole Beharie were there, although it wasn’t until the after party that things got interesting. Oh to be on the receiving end of THAT look…and that hug….and whatever else that was. (Yes I know, that’s Mia Wasikowska, Jane Eyre to Fassbender’s Rochester…and a mere ‘child’…whatever…Am I jealous? Yes, yes I am.)
