This looks very creepy indeed! The more I see of The Woman in Black, the more intrigued I become. I love a good ghost story, but I have to say it’s been quite some time since I’ve been really “scared” by one.  This may have a shot, since it includes all of the elements of a classic ghost tale like isolated Gothic surroundings shrouded in mist, secretive inhabitants and a newcomer or stranger who ignores the advice of obviously scared locals and can’t leave well enough alone. Combine that with striking visuals and a talented cast including Ciaran Hinds and Daniel Radcliffe and we have something here. Woman in Black has a screenplay by Jane Goldman of Stardust, Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class fame so right there, I'm thinking it's going to be a cut above your standard spook fest.

James Watkins' Woman in Black stars Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent. OOOOOO…’veddy scaaary’.

Shockya's calling this an "extended clip" but I think it's a future TV spot. Either way, I like it!

The film haunts theaters in the US beginning February 3 and in the UK on 10 February.
