Happy Monday! New Stills from Playing the Field with Gerard Butler!

Happy Monday! New Stills from Playing the Field with Gerard Butler!

It’s Monday morning. You need an IV drip of Starbucks just to hit the snooze on the alarm. What could get the ol’ blood racing and heart pumping better than some new pics from the upcoming dramedy, Playing the Field with Gerard Butler? (I knew you’d feel that way. Who luvs ya?) We haven’t really talked about this one yet. It’s not due out until March, but apparently The Film District knows how to play this game and is starting to give us some nibbles. To be fair, a few of these are not “new”, they’ve been kicking around the web for awhile now, but there are some that have just been released.

The synopsis is this: Gerard Butler is a former professional footballer (or soccer player for us Yanks) with a weak past who tries to redeem himself by coaching his son’s soccer team, only to find himself unable to resist when in scoring position with his players’ restless and gorgeous moms, including one mother in particular, played by Catherine Zeta Jones.

The cast includes Uma Thurman, Jessica Biel, Judy Greer (pictured below), James Tupper and Dennis Quaid.

Playing the Field, a title which is likely to change before release, is due in theaters March 9th, 2012. (Which incidentally, is five years to the day from the release of 300. Head full of useless information, me.)

Kat Von D Thanks Jesse James For Cheating On Her. With 19 Women!

Kat Von D Thanks Jesse James For Cheating On Her. With 19 Women!

Kat Von D was the first (and only) person to sincerely give Jesse James a chance after the world turned on him for serial-cheating on wife Sandra Bullock.

She really wanted to believe he could change his ways and approached that relationship with an open heart and open arms. Jesse James screwed Kat Von D over too. With 19 women!!!! NINE-TEEN. Why get engaged in the first place if you need to screw everything that moves?

What a shame, but kudos to Kat Von D for not being bitter. She wrote Jesse James a thank you letter on her Facebook page. How many of us would be as gracious and eloquent in the same circumstances? (I would have lobbed his nuts off):

Never have I felt so strong about True Love, than I do today.  I believe in Love more than anything else, and more than ever before.

Today I encountered the 19th girl to add to the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year.

I kept going back and forth in my mind as to what the best way would be for me to release and let go of any residual feelings remaining from that toxic relationship.  All of this may sound petty or immature to some, but I assure you this is coming from a place of pure honesty and love.

There was a time when I was confident and excited at proving the world wrong, because I believed so deeply in people's ability to change for the better.  Although this was not a primary purpose in the relationship, I did feel like it would be a positive thing for those who judged Jesse solely based on what they read in tabloids, to see that change is always possible – even in the people who seem hopeless.

I still believe that, even if that change never occurs inside of him - because I see proof of change everyday – in others, and in myself.

I'm far from perfect, but am willing to examine myself, and my patterns of dysfunction, and then put in the work to better myself.  It's a daily practice, but it’s working.

Sure, its easy to tell someone, "I told you so” especially if you're criticizing someone from the outside, but that attitude comes from a place called Ego, and not Love.

I know I deserve a big fat  "I told you so,” from everyone, and wish I didn't have to say, "You all were more right than you'll ever know” but you were.

Not to worry, I've gladly paid the consequences for every mistake I've ever made, but learned so much from each of them.

Yes, I am pretty tired of getting mistaken for the girl who everyone believes to have broken up Jesse and Sandra's marriage, just because I have black hair and tattoos like that other gal.  That does get a quite annoying at times, and it would be nice to not be associated with her, but that's trivial in the grand scheme of things.

I think it just made me sad today to imagine him still in that dark place – where seeking validation through the attention of women takes precedence over being a good father, a sincere friend, a better coworker, and a happy individual.

I tried my best to go through all of this without venting, or complaining, or fueling more tabloid mumbo jumbo – but this isn't about any of that.

This is about me making peace with myself, and forgiving myself for making some bad mistakes.

I don't want to sink into the feelings of regret, or resentment.

Because right now, for the first time in my life I have felt regret,  (for someone like me, who's never felt that before, this is hard to say out loud).

Time is something you can never get back, and what we do with this very present moment is the most real thing we have. So if that's the lesson Jesse forced me to face and learn by all of this, than all I can say is Thank You.

It would be nice to move on now, and kindly thank you all in advance for your support, love, and positivity.

Life is far too grand to focus on the negative and put each other down.

Sending Love and Light to everyone, especially those who weren't always so kind,

Kat Von D

Would you have been able to be so eloquent? I have a newfound respect for Kat Von D!

Happy for Happy Feet 2: LA Premiere!

Happy for Happy Feet 2: LA Premiere!

Yet another kids’ movie had its big premiere this weekend, this one again in LA. George Miller’s Happy Feet 2 got a gala blue carpet (icy=blue. Get it?) shindig Sunday November 13 at the Grauman’s (or Mann's) Chinese Theater with stars Elijah Wood (who will look like a Hobbit until the day he dies), Robin Williams, Sophia Vergara, Common, Alecia Moore (otherwise known as Pink) , Camryn Manheim, Hank Azaria and Benjamin “Lil -Pnut” Flores, Jr. Carlos Alazraqui, who voices Nestor, was carrying around a baby in a penguin suit.

Some other Hollywood types with nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon (no, seriously most of them brought their kids) like Billy Bob Thornton (looking cadaverous), Holly Robinson Peete, Marcia Gay Harden and Kate Flannery also showed up.  Pink brought along hubby Carey Hart and their adorable new baby Willow. I’m including a pic of composer John Powell, who did the music for the film, simply because I ADORED the score (hey that rhymed) for How to Train Your Dragon. (This is not news to some of you.)

Happy Feet 2 opens Friday in the US and Canada and 2 December in the UK. Enjoy the pics!

Kelly Brook Tweets Topless Photo of Herself

Kelly Brook Breakthrough Of The Year Awards

The very gorgeous Kelly Brook is on Twitter but doesn't have a 'verified' account, so when her identity was doubted by television presenter Leigh Francis, Kelly tweeted a topless, half-naked picture of herself to prove she wasn't some 'dirty old hairy man pretending to be Kelly Brook' as Leigh suggested she could be.

Leigh then joked that she could be a dirty old hairy man in really good prosthetics. I hope this dude is joking. Can you say GORGEOUS? Kelly looks amazing.

Kelly has been dating Scottish rugby star Thom Evans for almost a year. The two were expecting a baby girl earlier this year but she suffered a miscarriage when she was five months along.

Pink Brings Willow Hart to ‘Happy Feet Two Premiere PHOTOS

Pink Brings Willow Hart to 'Happy Feet Two Premiere PHOTOS

Pink (Alecia Moore) and husband Carey Hart made it a family affair at the Happy Feet Two premiere in Los Angeles yesterday when they brought  their five month old beautiful baby Willow Hart. The family all wore black and white like a happy little penguin family.

Willow is so adorable I can't take it. And I have to say motherhood looks amazing on both Pink and her husband Carey. They look so happy and so in love it's such a beautiful thing.

The Happy Feet Two premiere was held at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre yesterday afternoon. Pink does the voiceover of a penguin in the movie named Gloria.

The Big Apple’s Cutest Kids Turn Out for the NY Premiere of Arthur Christmas!

Watch Five New Clips from Arthur Christmas!

Some of the stars of the new Ardman Studios holiday movie, Arthur Christmas that we’ve been telling you about, along with other assorted New Yorkers, turned out for the film’s New York premiere at the Clearview Chelsea Cinemas on Sunday, November 13. May I just say, I adore Bill Nighy. (No, not like that. Why do I talk to you people?)

I swear some of these “celebs” rented children to bring to this event. Then again, some of them, like Patrick Wilson and his wife, actress Dagmara Domeniczyk have gorgeous kids.Their little boy looks like his daddy (with better hair). And then there’s the playful August Hermann, Mariska Hargitay and her hunky husband Peter Hermann’s little boy. Look at those eyes! He is just darling.

What I find most amusing about these red carpets is that anyone can stick their hand on their hip and decide they look “FABULOUS!”

Anyway, Arthur Christmas looks like a lot of fun! It opens November 23. Enjoy the pics of the premiere.
