Woman Claims Justin Bieber Fathered Her Child

Woman Claims Justin Bieber Fathered Her Child

Yesterday Justin Bieber's Christmas album 'Under The Mistletoe' dropped and so did some jaws when a 20 year old woman filed lawsuit claiming that she and Justin got down and dirty at one of his L.A. concerts and he is the father of her 3 month old son.

Mariah Yeater, 20 filed a lawsuit on October 31 claiming the Biebs fathered her child last year during a 30 second encounter. The fornication was apparently to have taken place last year when Justin was just 16 and this woman claims she took his virginity. I don't think this woman thought this lawsuit through because if it's true Justin was a minor at the time and she was not. I think they call that statutory rape.

Back on October 25, 2010 Mariah was at the Staples Center for Justin's sold out show when a member of Justin's security team asked her if she wanted to meet him. When she did:

"Immediately, it was obvious that we were mutually attracted to one another, and we began to kiss.” Yeater hand-wrote in her complaint. “Shortly thereafter, Justin Bieber suggested that I go with him to a private place where we could be alone. I agreed to go with him and on the walk to a private area, he told me he wanted to make love to me and this was going to be his first time.”

We went inside and immediately his personality changed drastically,” claimed Yeater. “He began touching me and repeatedly said he wanted to (expletive) the (expletive) out of me. At the time I asked him to put a condom for protection, but he insisted that he did not want to. In his own words, he said that because it was his first time he wanted to feel everything."

"He was on top of me with my legs around him. At the time I was on top of some type of shelf. The sexual intercourse itself was brief, lasting only approximately 30 seconds."

Bieber's team is saying this didn't happen and have issued their own statement:

"While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."

Wasn't Bieber with Selena Gomez back in October of 2010? You know I want to believe that Justin didn't do this, but he was on Dancing With The Stars last night and also Chelsea Lately and he seemed not his normal self. Maybe I'm analyzing the sh*t out of his body language, and maybe it's just him maturing (the reason for his different demeanor) but he looked worried to me.

However he is only 17 and even if he knows he didn't do anything maybe that would still concern him, I don't know. It's been decades since I was 17 so I can hardly remember how one processes things at that stage in life.

A hearing will take place December 15 and you can be rest assured we will be on top of that (no pun intended, maybe).

New Images as The Dark Knight Rises Films in Gotham City!

New Images as The Dark Knight Rises Films in Gotham City!

Filming for the last installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises, has come back to Gotham…I mean New York City. We've got some new set pics to share that give us a glimpse of Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Gotham PD cop John Blake as well as Christian Bale in Bruce Wayne mode. We've also got a couple of pics of Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon.

That big silver sphere in some of the pics, speculation among the more geekily inclined is that it's Bane's 'Instrument of Our Liberation' or 'Earthquake Device', a type of neutron bomb or microwave emmiter. I do not pretend to know the scientific ins and outs or ramifications of such a device, other than I think Bane's gonna blow some sh*t up! There were internet rumors of an 'official plot synopsis' but those have largely been dispelled. Stay tuned!

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters everywhere on July 20, 2012.

The Game’s Afoot! Three New TV Spots for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows!

First Posters for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows!

Three new TV spots for Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows have made their debut! I don’t know about you, but I am extremely excited about this movie. It seems to have a lot of the things that I loved about the first one packed inside its steampunk shell, like Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law to name but two, along with even more frenetic energy and of course, Professor Moriarty. It seems there will definitely be more explosions in this one as well, while Ritchie seems to have found a groove that he likes, in terms of style and pace for this saga, including the stop motion photography and everything being lit in shades of Victorian morgue blue.

The synopsis is simple: Holmes and Watson join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest adversary, Professor Moriarty, of course.

These clips are short and sweet and encompass pretty much everything we’ve seen in the trailers so far, including glimpses of Rachel McAdams, Jared Harris and Noomi Rapace (although they seem to be keeping Stephen Fry under wraps), but at a much faster pace so they seem to pack more of a wallop.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows opens on December 16th everywhere!

US Trailer & Clip for Shame with Michael Fassbender!

Michael Fassbender's Shame Gets a New Poster!

Happy Tuesday to me! We have a new US trailer and an extended clip from Steve McQueen’s Shame starring Michael Fassbender. *Demented poodle dance!* The official verdict from that august body, the Motion Picture Association of America, that Shame has been officially branded with the dread NC-17 rating. I have a feeling, however, that this might be the film to break the curse. Fox Searchlight seems to standing by their film, ready and willing to promote it in any way possible, which is going to rely heavily on the internet, including blogs like this one posting the clips and talking it up, because a lot of other outlets won’t accept NC-17 rated material. There are a lot of theaters in this country that won’t book it either.  That being said, there is so much buzz on this film right now, that if we can manage to keep it going, it will get seen.  Fassbender has already started racking up the acting nods, starting with his win at the Venice Film Festival and his nomination this week by the BIFAs. He’s consistently mentioned as an Academy Award contender.

The synopsis: In New York City, Brandon's (Fassbender) carefully cultivated private life — which allows him to indulge his sexual addiction — is disrupted when his sister Cissy (Carey Mulligan) arrives unannounced for an indefinite stay.

The US trailer is very similar to the unrated version. It begins with a shot of Brandon running and the sound of what we think is a runner  breathing,  until we realize we’re hearing something else altogether. Even in the trailer Fassbender makes us feel his desperation and his pain, Mulligan her fragility.

The clip, featuring Nicole Beharie. Without having seen the film, I can guess that this represents a moment of “normalcy” for Brandon: an actual ‘date’ with a woman instead of random sex.

Shame opens in limited US release December 2, the UK on 13 January.

Watch: New TV Spot for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1

Life After Breaking Dawn Is VERY Possible!

Won’t be long now, Twi-hards! Summit Entertainment has released a new TV spot for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1. It’s called “Love Forever” and it’s short but it gets to the freaky, sparkly heart of the matter, including Bella’s father willingly letting her take that walk down the aisle where he’ll hand her over to a vampire, Jacob and Bella continuing their angsty-flirty dance of farewell, including his not so subtle admonition to “enjoy your last night as a human.” How would he know?

The plot, for anyone out there interested who doesn't already know, revolves around the Quileute and the Volturi as they close in on Edward and Bella, as they await the birth of their child, a child who poses different threats to the wolf pack and vampire coven.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1, is directed by Bill Condon (Dreamgirls, Chicago) and just misses this year's award for longest title (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 beat it by one word). It opens November 18 on most of the planet. That’s two week from Friday. Are you camping out in line yet?
