After  all of the wonderful trailers we’ve seen for The Muppets, we finally have a clip of the movie itself. Woo hoo! Love me some Muppets! This clip features co-writer/featured human Jason Segel and a new muppet character, Walter, as they prepare to embark on a trip to the fabled Muppet Theater.

The synopsis for the film: When they learn that Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) wants to drill under the Muppet Theater for oil, Gary (Segel), Mary (Amy Adams) and their muppet friend Walter set out to find the Muppets.  Split up for years,  Kermit lives in his own mansion in Hollywood, Gonzo is a high class plumber, Fozzie performs with a tribute band called The Moopets , Miss Piggy is the plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, and Animal is at a celebrity anger management rehab center in Santa Barbara. Can they put aside their differences and reunite to save their beloved theater?

The Muppets opens in the US & Canada November 23 (3 more weeks!), but not until 10 February in the UK. (That’s payback for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy)

The father of Glee's Charice Pempengco 19, has been murdered in the Philippines in an act of random violence it is being reported.  Her 40 year old father Ricky Pempengco had been grocery shopping at a store in a San Pedro township just south of Manila yesterday when he  was stabbed in the chest and back with an ice pick after he accidentally bumped into a drunk man who was enraged at the incident. Charice tweeted to her fans:

“I am not going to be there to be part of David Foster and Friends concert,” she said in a post Tuesday on Twitter. “I have to go back to the Philippines as soon as possible to be with my family.”

The young teen has had a recurring role as Sunshine Corazon on the hit television show and has the voice of an Angel. She is a big star throughout Asia having done concerts and TV there. She was discovered in America after being invited to perform on the Ellen DeGeneres show. 

So very sad and so very senseless. Our deepest condolences to the Pempengco family at this time.

Despite none of us being overly shocked at Kim Kardashian filing for divorce yesterday from husband of 72 days Kris Humphries, lots of reports are coming out that the marriage was arranged and there could possibly be an arranged reconciliation in the works. All for ratings and money of course.

Word is out that not only was Kim never in love with Kris, but the entire wedding was a hoax for ratings as was her finding an NBA player from New York. RadarOnline is reporting that several 'well placed sources' confirm that neither party is 'devastated' nor did they hope it would last forever. A source very close to the production of Keeping Up With The Kardashians says:

Kim was looking for a husband and Kris was selected for her, amongst others. She wasn’t really into him but she hoped she would be able to develop some feelings, but it never happened. She was never particularly attracted to him, and by all accounts absolutely hated sleeping with him or even having to make out with him.

“The whole wedding was a total hoax and a publicity stunt. It was great for ratings and it was an amazing money maker. That’s it though, period. Kris turned out to not be as malleable as everyone hoped he would be, he was pictured out partying with other girls, Kim really couldn’t care less for him, she decided to end it.”

The tacky doesn't stop there kittens. Don't fall off your chairs if there is a reconciliation (for ratings of course):

“It wouldn’t surprise me, in the slightest, if Kim and Kris managed to ‘reunite’ and the divorce filing gets brushed aside as they go to counseling and couples therapy. Basically, Kim will do anything and everything for the maximum amount of attention and TV time.”

How sad to be that needy for fame that you have to fake a marriage and possible reconciliation (if it is true of course and nothing would surprise me at this point).

Even though their wedding was reported to have cost $10 million, apparently they made in the neighbourhood of $18 million off of it. I must not be ambitious enough because that is so unappealing to me. It's almost like a circus atmosphere. 

TMZ is reporting that Kim 'agonized' over the decision to file for divorce or not so much so that she was a mess the entire weekend. It also reported that the final deciding factor was the fact that Kris had gone and hired himself a Hollywood publicist. There will only be ONE star in that relationship bitches. How DARE he try to steal Kim's thunder. As she told friends: "He's not in f**king Hollywood.  He plays sports." How shocking that someone who agreed to be part of your (alleged) arranged marriage (for cash and ratings) would want to hire himself a Hollywood publicist. What are the odds?

Hollywood romance is a complicated deal, yes? Are you surprised to learn that Kim Kardashian's marriage may have been arranged and wasn't real *GASP*?

I still maintain that she and Reggie Bush were perfect together. I actually think there was real love there and it wouldn't surprise me if on her wedding day she thought of Reggie a whole lot!

Remember that mixed martial arts movie we told you so much about a few months ago? Warrior?You know, the one with Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton playing brothers destined to beat the snot out of each other in the cage…shirtless. Well, since I know we all have short memories, especially when it comes to pop culture, let me remind you.

Warrior, directed by Gavin O’Connor, is a Rocky-esque drama about family, redemption and forgiveness that just happens to be set amid the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). It was released in early September in the US (although is still in theaters in the UK) which may not do it any favors come awards time, but Hardy and Nolte should be definite contenders. (Hardy’s also received attention for his turn in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. The Wettest County in the World, due in December, may also help his cause.) It might help their cause that Warrior is due to be released on dvd and blu-ray and a dvd/blu-ray combo pack on December 20. Entertainment Weekly revealed the details of the special features.
