The first official trailer for The Lucky One has been released. A couple of weeks ago we had a brief featurette that had some footage but not we have the actual trailer. The film stars Zac Efron as a Marine who, after serving three tours in Iraq, travels to North Carolina and searches for the unknown woman he believes was his good luck charm during the war. 

Also starring Taylor Schilling (“Mercy”) and Blythe Danner, The Lucky Ones is adapted from the 2008 bestselling novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron), while fighting in Iraq, finds a photograph of a woman whom he credits for keeping him alive, believing her picure was his good luck charm. Upon his return to the states, he travels to North Carolina in search of the unknown woman, eventually taking a job at her family-run kennel and keeping the photograph a secret. (Of course) romance begins to blossom.

Sparks is certainly prolific. In addition to The Notebook and the upcoming The Vow, there has been Nights in Rodanthe, A Walk to Remember and Message in a Bottle all brought to the big screen.  I think we know what to expect with this one. Bring your handkerchiefs.

Directed by Scott Hicks, The Lucky One also stars Blythe Danner and Jay R. Ferguson, and is set to be released on April 20 in the US and 4th May in the UK.

Pink (Alecia Moore) and her gorgeous baby Willow Sage Hart were seen outside Coogie's Cafe in Malibu over the weekend. I know I've said it before, but I have to say it again: Pink and Carey Hart make BEAUTIFUL babies. I hope these two continue to have more and more children.

Remember when Kate Winslet started dating model Louis Dowler after her marriage to Sam Mendes fell apart? I remember thinking at the time that I hoped he wouldn't hurt her because he's this gorgeous male model (not that she isn't worthy of such a beast). Well it turns out she's the one that laid a hurt on in that relationship.

Louis is speaking for the first time since their breakup basically stating that Kate is a cruel lover and discarded him like yesterday's news. Kate and Louis were actually still together when they stayed at Sir Richard Branson's house on Necker Island that caught fire and Kate threw on a bra and rescued Richard's mother.

Kate ended up dumping Louis for Richard's nephew Ned Rocknroll (his birth name was Abel Smith but he had it changed) and Ned left his 23 year old wife Eliza Pearson for Kate. Louis says of that infamous weekend:

‘I don’t think Kate behaved well and it is still very raw for me.’

Three months later and this gorgeous creature is still hurting over her. Poor guy. While I have immense respect for Kate for her acting ability anyone can be an asshole, right? If what Louis is saying is true, that really sucks that she treated him that way. While not every relationship is meant to last forever, there is no need to treat someone like crap.

This may or may not be the first official poster for Gabriele Muccino’s Playing the Field starring Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel, Catherine Zeta Jones, Uma Thurman, Dennis Quaid, and Judy Greer.

The official synopsis for the film: A former professional athlete with a weak past tries to redeem himself by coaching his son's soccer team, only to find himself unable to resist when in scoring position with his players' restless and gorgeous moms.

I’m skeptical because at this point only one Italian site has posted it and there doesn’t seem to be any other news about it anywhere.  Frankly, I hope it isn’t an “official” poster because it’s a bland, photo-shopped mess.  I had also read in an interview with Butler that the title will most likely change before release. If that’s the case, why put out a poster?

As you can tell it loses something in the translation.

I don’t think this poster sets the tone the filmmakers were going for, either. It is supposed to be a ‘dramedy’ since the emphasis is on George’s (Butler) relationship with his son and his attempt to win back his ex-wife (Biel). Then again, maybe I have it all wrong and they are going for another mindless, soul-less rom-com. Judging from his previous cv, I would think director Muccino had more in him and I know Butler was trying to move away (far far away one hopes) from such fare. We’ll see.

Playing the Field (or whatever it will be called. They'd better hurry up, time's a wastin') opens March 9 in the US and 20th April in the UK

Stella McCartney is adding to her brand with a second fragrance that will be named after her late mother Linda McCartney: L.I.L.Y. Which makes zero sense, right? Wrong. According to Stella:

"It comes from my dad's nickname for my mum: 'Linda I love you.'

'The name is also from the lily of the valley ingredient – I love it as a flower, and so did my mum – it's delicate, feminine, innocent. It was part of my bridal bouquet. But I also wanted to explore its darker, more masculine side. It's a woodland flower and I wanted to capture the roots and the earthy side of it.'

Isn't that so beautiful? Her mother died of breast cancer in 1998 at the age of 56. Her first perfume was named Stella.

Stella has been married to Alasdhair Willis since 1993 and they have four children together. Stella is estimated to be worth $75 million.

Jessica Simpson hasn't even delivered her little bundle of joy and she's already inked a $3 million deal to be the latest celebrity spokesperson for Weight Watchers!

As soon as the baby drops she'll be counting her points not only to shed her baby weight but to also get ready for her wedding to fiance Eric Johnson. 

Weight Watchers enjoyed tremendous success with having Jennifer Hudson as their spokesperson who lost a lot of weight and looks amazing!

Apparently Jessica was getting offers from other weight loss organizations but chose Weight Watchers. You can probably safely assume she was fielded with offers from Jenny Craig who has seen Valerie Bertinelli, Sara Rue and more recently Carrie Fisher.

No word on when she is expected to deliver or the gender of the baby but the rumor mill keeps coming up with the color pink!
