Well it's award season kittens. One of the most fun award shows is on tonight (Sunday, January 15, 2012): the 2012 Golden Globe Awards and what makes it so fun is that the atmosphere is on the casual side. Translated: alcohol is involved and usually everyone is a bit on the tanked side.

Ricky Gervais has hosting duties for the third time and I have loved his hosting duties. My only complaint, and I sound like a broken record, is that he isn't on enough. I don't find him offensive at all. 

His opening where he mentioned he wasn't allowed to say Mel Gibson's name or refer to The Beaver he did mention Jodie Foster's Beaver (she was director of the film) and how he nor any man he spoke to had ever seen it implying what has never been publicly acknowledged: she's a lesbian. It's not like she's married to a guy and hiding behind that.
