Ok, now these are seriously cool! Lionsgate has just dropped these three brand new and fantabulous ‘motion posters’ for  The Hunger Games! We still have five more weeks to wait but they’ll fly with stuff like this coming at us left, right and center. Expect a lot more to come before March 23!

Once again, the synopsis:

In a not-too-distant future, the United States of America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine, and war, to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts. Each year, two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal intimidation of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcasted throughout Panem as the 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss’ young sister, Prim, is selected as the mining district’s female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart, Peeta, the son of the town baker who seems to have all the fighting skills of a lump of bread dough, will be pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.

The three posters are faux ads for faux products endorsed by celebrities associated with The Hunger Games.

First up is Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman, the emcee. I’ve decided that’s a good look for him.

Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane, ‘Gamemaker’. A gamemaker  designs and control s the Hunger Games; everything from the arena to the outfits, and a number of the deaths. From the tiniest detail to the biggest bloodbath, the Gamemakers are in charge of entertaining  the Capital to the fullest. A dry and boring  Games means that the head Gamemaker's life is in peril. A bloody and fantastic Games that keeps the crowd on the edge of their seats brings the Gamemakers fame and fortune.**  Nice facial hair. I can see why he’d need a quality trimmer.

Lenny Kravitz as Cinna, Katniss Everdeen’s (Jennifer Lawrence) stylist for the Games. This one will freak you out.
