MACHO MAN' SAVAGE KILLED IN CAR CRASH

Randy “Macho Man” Savage died in a car accident on Friday but they still conducted an autopsy to determine what might have cause his heart attack, and led to his death.  The medical examiner says that his cause of death is still pending and that they didn’t notice any “extensive trauma” to his body.

The toxicology reports are what they are really waiting on, and as usual, those take 4-6 weeks to turn over.  So, it’s a total waiting game now.

My heart still just breaks for his wife Lynne who was in the car when Randy died.

Haley Reinhart BritWeek's VIP Launch

Haley Reinhart is the latest castoff on this season of American Idol.  I was shocked amongst many, many fans to see her go.  I was certain she’d be in the finale.  But, then… I guess I just proved that I am not always right.  It seems that a lot of people thought she got too confident and they didn’t like that… so they put her in her place.  If you watched the last show, you saw the look on her face and it was one of shock when Ryan Seacrest said she was toast.  She totally thought she was in and Lauren Alaina was out.

James Durbin Is No Fan of Lady Gaga

After seeing her reaction, I assumed she would be very bitter.  Such was not the case though:

“I wasn’t angry at all with the results,” says Haley. “I took it in stride. Everything happens for a reason.”

I like that attitude for sure.  She’s going to have a huge career… she’s got the pipes to back it up!  SO what does she think about the final two?

“We have a young audience out there, and Lauren and Scotty are both so cute, so darn cute,” Haley tells Life & Style. “This is a country year, and I’m excited to see what happens. I can definitely see young America being captivated by these two.”

I am anxious to see who takes it too.  And Haley, congrats to you on all the success you’ve found through Idol!

Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards

Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire have teamed up for a Tornado Relief Concert to benefit those affected by the tornadoes that devastated Oklahoma last month.

They will be doing two relief concerts on May 25 and 26 in Durant, Oklahoma and all the proceeds will be going to the Tushka Disaster Relief fund from both shows.

Blake told Us Weekly,

“Oklahoma defines who I am… I knew I had to do something. This place is my home and these people are family to us.”

Ginnifer Goodwin is Single Again

Ginnfer Goodwin recently filed to have her name legally changed to Ginnifer rather than Jennifer and it looks like she won’t be having any other name changes in the near future.  She and her fiance of just a few months, Joey Kern have ended their engagement.

Britney Spears KIIS FM's 2011 Wango Tango Concert

Us Weekly is reporting that Britney Spears is lined up to perform at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards tomorrow night in Las Vegas.   Brit is supposed to be opening the show with Rihanna, singing S&M.  Then later on she will take the stage again with Nicki Minaj performing Till The World Ends.

Mathieu Schreyer and Rosario Dawson

Rosario Dawson and Mathieu Schreyer have called it quits.  Apparently their careers drove them apart…. that seems to be a very common tale in Hollywood, doesn’t it?

“They were always in separate places because of their careers,” a source says. “I know her close friends did not love his personality. He wasn’t that smiley type of guy.”

It looks like she did the dumping too.

“She broke up with him,” a source tells Us of Dawson and Schreyer. “She was the one who ended it.”

And according to another source, this seems to have been a really sudden breakup because they were “definitely together a few weeks ago at the [April 23] Prince concert in L.A. They seemed really happy. They were kissing and there was a point in the concert where Prince was calling people up on stage and they were up there holding hands. They seemed very in love.”

Oh well, it happens.  They are both young and Rosario is one hot ticket.. they will survive.

Faith Evans 2011 Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons

Singer, songwriter, Faith Evans who is married to record company exec Todd Russaw is over her marriage…. so she has filed divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court and of course she’s citing irreconcilable differences. Todd happens to be her manager… but you can bet that is also going to change.

They have two young children together and Faith wants sole physical custody and only wants Todd to get visitation.  Oh and to top it off, she wants the judge to refuse any spousal support.  Ouch!  There is obviously some bad blood brewing here!
