Former American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert's second LP 'Trespassing' only hit the charts on May 15, 2012 and it is already making history by selling 77,000 copies in the first week knocking former Idol winner Carrie Underwood from the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The historical aspect being that Adam is the first openly gay male to top the charts. I'm not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand that is great to get that recognition, but on the other hand his music should speak for itself and sexual orientation should matter little. What do you think?

Of course his Glamily and their fierce devotion to him has everything to do with his rise to the top of the charts. Entertainment Weekly reports that these numbers are quite impressive given there hasn't been a huge hit off the album as of yet (Better Than I Know Myself did okay on the charts but not great; however Never Close Our Eyes is starting to climb). Give it time Glamberts, because his Outlaws of Love and NCOE are bound to change that.

Adam Lambert is Trespassing his way across America with a stop in New Jersey yesterday as part of the 103.5 KTU's KTUphoria concert at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel City. The concert also included Pitbull, Flo Rida, Enrique Iglesias and more but we only have eyes for Adam this morning.

His Glamily got the album back on top of the charts and as promised he gave us a sneak peek of his next video NCOE. Not only does it look Glamtastic, methinks I see an acting career in this man's future, yes? Check out the 17 second teaser clip and the pictures below of the concert.

Adam Lambert donned a leopard print top and touches of silver in his gorgeous mane of hair and did what he does best: entertain the crowd at the 103.5 KISS FM Chicago 2012 Fantabuloso concert at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois last night.

On Tuesday he released his second LP Trespassing and it's well on its way to becoming number one on the iTunes chart. And if it does, he tweeted that he's going to give us a sneak peek of the NCOE video! Let's go Glambert Nation! We can do it.

Adam has already hit the top 200 on the Billboard chart in only 3 days of its release. It is expected that he will hit the number one spot some time next week.

Adam Lambert spent a lot of time creating his latest album Trespassing and one song in particular is close to his heart and the news of late. 'Outlaws of Love' is based on the struggles of the LGBT community to have equality in marriage:

"I wrote 'Outlaws of Love' to lament the LGBT community's struggle for equal rights and acceptance," the singer tells The Advocate. "It saddens me to think that we find ourselves essentially 'outlawed' in certain communities because of our basic human desire for companionship. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, however. I am thrilled that President Obama had the guts to speak out — even in an election year — for the traditional American values of justice and equality for all. It's a bold step in the right direction."

Adam Lambert will return to where it all began on May 17 when he takes to the American Idol stage with a new single. He tweeted Glambert Nation with the great news confirming he will perform Never Close Our Eyes a week before the show crowns this season's winner.

As you recall he was runner up in Season 8 only to go on to great success. His latest album Trespassing hits store shelves on May 15 marking his second studio album which is receiving great reviews so far which surprises no one that knows of his musical talents!

While Adam respects all of the incredible talent on this season's AI, he has indicated his favorites are Jessica Sanchez and Joshua Ledet. Who do you think is going to win the competition this year?

He came, he sang, he conquered! Adam Lambert appeared on Jimmy Kimmel last night as part of the Bud Light Concert Series that was held outside the studios and while viewers of the show saw him perform Never Close Our Eyes, he actually performed 5 songs and we have a video of him performing Naked Love.

Much to the delight of 1,000 fans in the parking lot of the El Capitan theater he also sang Trespassing, Broken English and Cuckoo. Thanks to the fabulous people at THR for this incredible video!

Attention Glambert nation: set your television recording devices if you aren't able to catch Jimmy Kimmel live because Adam Lambert is going to be performing on the show tonight.

He's promoting his latest album Trespassing and recently released the single 'Never Close Our Eyes'. No word on what song from the new album he's going to perform, but it's probably a safe bet it's NCOE. Regardless of what he sings, it will kick ass because that's what he does. The album is due out on May 15.
