The Bachelorette's Ali Fedotowsky 27, and Roberto Martinez 28, have split up after meeting some 18 months ago. The couple became engaged  and soon moved in together with her leaving her life behind to live in San Diego where he is based. What followed were three postponed wedding dates, knee surgery, lots of photo ops and protestations that despite it all they really were in love.

A source claims that Ali is really very upset by the split and will be laying low for a while. Still another source claims things haven't been right for a while with those two and that they either really hate each other or really love each other. 

Why anyone would be surprised at this news is kind of shocking. The whole premise behind The Bachelor and Bachelorette reality show is that you date 25 (or so) people, narrow it down and find the person of your dreams and live happily ever after. You're better off having your parents pick your spouse for you. 

All the people on the show are very slim and attractive, without anyone ever falling into the plain category. It's a show meant for ratings and not for creating relationships that last an eternity. Don't get me wrong I'm sure the people on it are really quite nice including Ali and Roberto but the concept of needing to go on TV to date a bunch of people to determine the love of your life isn't the most realistic thing.

OMG.  OMG.  OMG.  Vienna Girardi has moved onto another guy and this time it’s another Bachelorette reject.  Remember the crazy guy, Kasey Kahl who was after Ali Fedotowsky?  He got the crazy tattoo and was always saying “I’ll guard and protect your heart…”? Yeah, that’s Vienna’s new boy toy!

An eyewitness saw them at Sharkeez Bar in Manhattan Beach,

“They were there for the Super Bowl but their eyes were hardly on the TV. They kept stealing kisses and were holding hands,” says the onlooker. “It seemed like much more than a one-night fling.”

What on earth is she thinking?  It’s not like she didn’t see the season of him being insane!  There is no way this can get serious.  I just don’t see it.  Kasey is way too creepy for my taste.  Yikes!

Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez are still going strong.  So strong in fact, they seem quite inseparable.  The love birds were spotted getting their hair done at a Beverly Hills hair salon and well, that’s a first for me.

I’ve never gotten my hair done with a guy.  I usually call that my “girl” time and go solo or with a girlfriend.  I guess these two have an extremely special relationship.

Chris Harrison spoke with People last month about this dynamic duo,

“What I love is that they’re living their lives.  I try to tell them, ‘Don’t let The Bachelor change who you are – just let it enhance what you do.’ … I think those successful couples have been able to do that.”

So are Ali and Roberto going to keep pushing the wedding date back or will they pop a big surprise on us and go through with it this spring?

Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky used to work at Facebook before she became a reality star (and kind of during too), so when she saw The Social Network which portrays her former boss, 26 year old billion Mark Zuckerberg as a nerdy, arrogant, back-stabbing Harvard undergrad totally obsessed with putting Facebook on the map, she told US her thoughts on the film:

“It’s definitely an entertaining movie, but not entirely accurate.   Mark is a good guy,” “We should be celebrating the amazing company he built!”

What’s she going to say?  ’My former BILLIONAIRE BOSS is a douchebag?’ Good luck getting a good reference. Watching the film  reminded her:

“how proud I was to have been a part of Facebook, and how inspiring it was to work along side some of the most intelligent and innovative people in the world.” “I HEART Facebook!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky has aligned herself with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® for the special “Pink Ribbon” Movies-On-Demand Charity Campaign.

When movies like The Notebook and other movies rented via Movies-On-Demand, a donation will be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® foundation. This campaign is made possible by several cable and satellite providers: Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox, Cablevision, Charter, AT&T, Verizon FiOS , DIRECTV and DISH.

There are 16 movies in total that are part of this wonderful campaign, so if you’re going to watch a movie, perhaps you can help with their goal of raising $20,000 by renting one of these:

Note: During the month of October, each time a film in the PINK RIBBON channel is rented a $0.15 donation will be made to Susan G. Komen For the Cure with a minimum contribution of $8,850.
