Not in the mood for the cold temps in New York City, the happy new parents/newlyweds went down to St. Barts like many other celebs to enjoy the warmer weather and beautiful beaches.

Early in the day, before the nightly festivities, they went out shopping in Gustavia.  Alicia looks fantastic.  You’d never know she just had a baby!

Kim Kardashian, Lady GaGa, Alicia Keys and others have been resurrected from their digital death thanks to billionaire (with a B) pharmaceutical mogul Stewart Rahr.

Digital Death Campaign Has Begun [See the Posters

The campaign was to raise $1 Million for the Keep A Child Alive foundation by having a number of celebrities stop tweeting. The point of the campaign was if you wanted your favourite celebrity back on Twitter you would have to donate money to see them back on.  That is of course once $1 Million was raised.

The campaign was not doing so well and there were concerns (or hopes in some cases) that the celebrities were not going to come back in a long time. TMZ revealed Billionaire-Man Stewart Rahr very generously donated $500,000 so that we could see Kim Kardashian tweet her ass off. That’s a lot of tweeting.

If it weren’t going to such a good cause I might suggest we tar and feather Mr. Rahr but his heart was in the right place.

Well, she will be dead to the Twitter and Facebook world starting on December 1.  This is part of the Keep A Child Alive fundraiser.  Kim Kardashian won’t be the only “dead” celebrity either.  The stars are joining forces for a touching cause and I hope that the funds raised go well beyond the $1 million goal for World AIDS Day on Tuesday (Dec 1.)

Stars such as Katie Holmes, Usher, Kim Kardashian, Usher, Jay Sean and Ryan Seacrest have thrown their support behind Alicia Keys’ Keep A Child Alive foundation by modelling a new range of t-shirts for the charity.

Alicia looks beautiful rocking her baby bump in her picture and also got her husband Swizz Beatz in on the action.

The t-shirts feature a bar code and the slogan ‘Buy Life’. Fans can download an application onto a cellphone and ‘scan’ the bar code to make a donation to the cause. Go to the site to find out more http://www.buylife.org/

Alicia’s goal is to make a difference to families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India:

Alicia Keys put on her sparkly pants and performed at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois where it looks like Robin Thicke opened for her.

Alicia recently shared with Britain’s You magazine how she stays so grounded:

“I always make sure I stay connected to the real world. The way I avoid temptations, what did it for me, was that I grew up around drugs, sex, alcohol and death – and I think that when you see that in your life, you know what it does to you and have no desire to do it.“

Lady GaGa won all 3 awards that she was nominated for at last night’s 2010 BRIT Awards: International Breakthrough, International Female and International Album.  She performed Telephone – Dance in the Dark and dedicated her performance to her friend and designer Alexander McQueen.

Madonna and Sting pose backstage at last night’s two-hour Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief that George Clooney put together along with Wyclef Jean to raise money for this devastating tragedy.

The show opened with Alicia Keys singing Prelude to a Kiss and saw some very remarkable performances by Madonna, Sting, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, Bono, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, Beyonce, Coldplay and more.  I’ve included some pictures of some of the performances but if you missed any of them my friend at Busy Bee Blogger has all the videos.  You really should watch the performances if you missed any of them.
