How can anyone not love Kristen Bell? She’s so cute, sweet, spunky and has a wicked sense of humour not to mention she’s a talented actress.  I simply love her sense of fashion: classic, elegant and very flattering to her tiny frame.  I can imagine how beautiful her wedding gown will be when she marries Dax Shepard.

She attended last night’s Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Dinner in support of the Tribeca Film Festival Artists Awards Program in New York.  What this means, I haven’t a clue but I like looking at pretty pictures.  I’m simple like that.

Cameron Diaz, Mike Myers, Antonio Banderas and Eddie Murphy premiere Shrek Forever After at the 9th Annual Tribeca Film Festival in New York yesterday.

I refuse to believe Cameron Diaz is getting her freak on with A-Rod.  Unless I see photographic evidence to the contrary I’ll just keep believing she hasn’t gotten that desperate.

Shrek Forever After joins every other movie out there that is coming out in 3-D.  You know what this means ladies? Your boyfriends and husbands are going to want 3D TVs.  Trust.  Men and TV is like the other mistress in your life.

I would suggest you answer no when he asks if he can add the porn channel to your TV cable package once you get the 3D TV. Just a hunch it could be problematic.

Matt Damon premiered Green Zone in New York last night with his lovely and very lucky wife Luciana Barroso who wore a gorgeous blue off the shoulder dress. Costars Amy Ryan, Nicoye Banks, Khalid Abdalla, and Jason Isaacs also attended as did Brendan Gleeson.

Matt Damon plays Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller:

Discovering covert and faulty intelligence causes a U.S. Army officer to go rogue as he hunts for Weapons of Mass Destruction in an unstable region

The movie opens in theatres March 12.  Also attending the premiere:  Howard Stern and his lovely wife Beth Ostrosky, Julia Stiles, Andrew McCarthy and others.

At the premiere Howard Stern talked to The Insider and gave his opinion on American Idol and how he feels about working with Ellen DeGeneres:

“I read in the paper that they want to give me $100 million to judge a karaoke contest, and that seems like pretty good pay for something as dumb as that,”

“Ellen has said she won’t work with me, but quite frankly, after watching her on the stupid show, I gotta tell ya, I won’t work with Ellen. She’s out if I come in.”

Ouch.

While I realize that Extraordinary Measures is a movie that stars Harrison Ford, Keri Russell and Brendan Fraser and I probably should put one of their mugs as the main pictures, common sense prevailed and I put Gerard Butler’s instead.  He’s sexier, so sue me.  It’s Gerard Butler, y’all!  Need I say more? And I think he looks kind of hot in his jeans.

And of course it got me thinking to the sexual assault on David Beckham that I reported yesterday, and I wondered, what Gerard Butler would do if he had his gonads jacked in public by a complete stranger?  Would he have been horrified?  Methinks not.  The place would have turned into an orgy.  But I digress.

Last night was the New York premiere of Extraordinary Measures which is:

A drama centered on the efforts of John and Aileen Crowley to find a researcher who might have a cure for their two children’s rare genetic disorder

Harrison Ford also served as executive produced on the film which is based on a true story about a man whose children both have Pompe disease which is a rare form of muscular dystrophy that normally takes its victims before the age of 9.  The man, John Crowley quits his job and forms a biotech company with a brilliant researcher to look for a cure.

You know you’re going to need tissues for this film.

Marion Cottilard and Penelope Cruz pose at the New York screening of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and I have to say I did not recognize Marion with her hair shorter and so straight.  Can we talk boots on Ms. Penelope Cruz?? How sexay are those??

Robin Wright Penn, who by the way looks fabulous with darker hair and since she got rid of that excess baggage, has the lead in this movie:

After her much older husband forces a move to a suburban retirement community, Pippa Lee engages in a period of reflection and finds herself heading toward a quiet nervous breakdown

Blake Lively plays the younger Pippa Lee in this movie written, and directed by Rebecca Miller and says of her love scenes with Alan Arkin:

“Well, I think it’s uncomfortable, laying in strategically placed clothes that are taped on your body, in front of some strangers. That’s always uncomfortable,” Lively admitted. She then added, “But, I was with Alan and Rebecca [Miller], and our wonderful D.P., and it was a very private set. We’re all actors, we’re all professionals and we all understood what was happening. Everybody is uncomfortable with those scenes. You’re never going to be comfortable being half-naked in front of anyone. But, it was fine. It was a short scene.“

Speak for yourself, Blake.  Give me a half-naked scene with Kiefer Sutherland and it wouldn’t be me that would be uncomfortable but those on the set watching me and Kiefer with our crazy monkey love moves, he he he.
