According to German Magazine Das Neue, Angelina Jolie has hinted that she and Brad Pitt have an ‘open’ relationship:

“I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship. It’s worse to leave your partner and talk badly about him afterwards. Neither Brad nor I have ever claimed that living together means to be chained together. We make sure that we never restrict each other.”

It’s either a case of those rumours are true, or something was lost in the translation during that interview.

And yes, they are a normal couple in that they have arguments:

“The sparks fly at home if the nice Brad fails to see that he’s wrong and reacts in a defiant way. Then I can get so angry that I tear his shirt,”

Tear his shirt?  That’s it?  Seems a bit odd that she wants to tear his shirt if he’s ‘wrong‘ yet she’s perfectly accepting of him being with other women.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been working on a jewellery line together for the last year and will team up with Aspry to launch the line this week which starts at $525 for a silver baby spoon with a handle crafted to look like a serpent.  The line is inspired by snakes.  Interesting.

Money raised from the sale of the jewellery will benefit Angelina’s Education Partnership for Children of Conflict charity, which raises money for children affected by conflict and natural disasters.

WWD has quoted Angelina as saying in an email:

“These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place – to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.”

The choice for a snake theme is due to the fact Angelina was given some jewellery with a snake on it during her pregnancy with Shiloh and considers snakes to be protectors of her family.  Uh-huh.

Forget Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s bodyguard’s explosive book.  Which btw, has anyone seen that guy?  He seems to have faded into obscurity. 

But ‘heavily-sourced’ investigative journalist Ian Halperin, who is the man behind best-selling Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson, will be blowing the lid off of Brad and Angelina December 1 when Brangelina Exposed hits the shelves.

The book will divulge the ‘real reason’ for Brad Pitt’s split with Jennifer Aniston.  As if his affair with Angelina Jolie isn’t enough,  I can’t imagine the ‘real reason’!

The press release states the book will talk about how Brangelina:

“have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair’s life together,”

and that

“Jolie’s personal lifestyle choices are not only affecting her growing family,” “but causing serious and potentially irreparable tensions with Pitt.”

Now if that isn’t a titillating press release I don’t know what is.  Would you read this book??

Brad Pitt sits down with Parade Magazine and talks about love, marriage, drugs and what keeps him up at night.

Wanting what’s best for his children.
 ”Would it bother me if a child of mine turns out to be gay? No, not one bit. Listen, I want my kids to live the lives they want to live. I want them to be fulfilled. I hope I teach my kids to be who they really are.”

Why he won’t marry Angelina Jolie.
“I have love in my life, a soul mate–absolutely. When someone asked me why Angie and I don’t get married, I replied, ‘Maybe we’ll get married when it’s legal for everyone else.’ I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it–hate mail from religious groups. I believe everyone should have the same rights. They say gay marriage ruins families and hurts kids. Well, I’ve had the privilege of seeing my gay friends being parents and watching their kids grow up in a loving environment.”

The right to love.
“Man, I resent people telling others how to live! It drives me mental! Just the other night, I heard this TV reverend say that Angie and I were setting a bad example because we were living out of wedlock, and people should not be duped by us! It made me laugh. What damn right does anyone have to tell someone else how to live if they’re not hurting anyone? How many times do you think real love comes to someone in a lifetime? If you’re lucky, maybe two or three.”
