Anna Kournikova Joins Biggest Loser

Whoaaa!  Where did that come from?!  Tennis star Anna Kournikova is set to join the training crew on The Biggest Loser for the upcoming season.  She will of course be replacing Jillian Michaels who left the show to adopt a baby and focus on being a mom.

I personally can’t imagine Biggest Loser without Jillian.  She and Bob are like the “life of the show” and I hate to see her go!  But, that being said, she’s gone, so we have to move on, right?  Well, who better than a super fit and oh so sexy, Anna?  Yeah, you know she’s going to rock that show and if the men aren’t too busy drooling over her, she might just get them in shape!

You can look forward to hearing the official announcement about Anna tonight during the season finale of The Biggest Loser on NBC.

American Idol winner David Cook attended the Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic Pro-Am at the Delray Beach Tennis Center in Florida over the weekend and besides playing tennis I think he may have performed because he brought his guitar. Maybe he brings his guitar everywhere should inspiration hit him.

He wasn’t the only one lending their hand for this 3-day charity event that aids in helping against drug abuse and child-neglect in the Florida area. Also attending:

Enrique Iglesias performed at the Miami Dolphins’ home opener yesterday at the Sun Life Stadium against the New York Jets while his longtime girlfriend Anna Kournikova attended showing her man support.  Anna looks smoking hot, doesn’t she? I bet the players and fans were frothing at the mouth watching her prance around the field during half-time.

Part owners Marc Anthony, Gloria and Emilio Estefan also were in on the festivities as was Fergie, Kim Kardashian and Tara Reid as well as other celebrities. I guess Jennifer Lopez didn’t attend due to her American Idol obligations? (sidenote:  actually I believe she was there, I just wasn’t lucky enough to get pictures of her boo).

Speaking of which, what do you think of Jennifer as an American Idol judge? I know it’s a bit off topic with the post, but this isn’t a sports blog, lol.

Anna Kournikova was in Las Vegas over the weekend at the HardBat Classic table tennis tournament and afterwards went to Lavo nightclub with friends when a woman threw a drink at Anna because she was invading her space.  Territorial much?

An eyewitness told PageSix Anna:

“sprung into action” and starting screaming at the woman and shoving her. “It was a big fight,”

The woman was kicked out and Anna is nursing some scratches.  There is no comment from Anna`s rep. 

I can`t stand seeing anyone fight, but especially women.   What would you have done if someone threw a drink at you?

Despite the fact that Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have been together for 6 years, Enrique is realistic about a future with Anna and says:

 ”Life goes by so fast. My 20s were a blur. I want to enjoy the good moments. They could involve marriage and kids, but not yet. My grandfather had a baby when he was 92. Now there was a man who knew how to live!

“Anna’s clock may be ticking but I don’t think she’s ready for kids either. We talked about it all one day and she said that she wouldn’t marry me. And she meant it. She said I’m probably just a guy she wants to date for a few years, then she’ll leave me. I’m cool with that.”

“Obviously I’m with her because she’s my dream woman. But if she left me tomorrow, what am I going to do? She would have no trouble finding the guy she wants to marry.”

He goes on to say that if they did marry, there would not be an elaborate celebration:

“People break up all the time. The reality is people get married, think it’s going to be forever, then they get divorced.”
But if Kournikova one day accepts his marriage proposal, he claims he’d shun a big, white wedding in favour of a quickie ceremony in Las Vegas.

He adds, “Even if Anna and I were to have children, I wouldn’t think marriage was that important. And even if we did get married, I’d do it in a drive-through in Vegas. But Anna wouldn’t marry someone like me, even if I try.”

I find it curious when he says “But Anna wouldn’t marry someone like me, even if I try”.  I have to wonder what he means by “someone like me”.  Is he that bad??  It makes you wonder why they are together in the first place?  What do you think?

The beautiful Tennis star looks much healthier than 3 years back when she was much thinner (pictured below). 

Anna who lives in the sunshine state with boyfriend Enrique Iglesias, had a front row seat at the Red Carter swimwear fashion show for Miami Fashion Week at the Raleigh Hotel.  This gave her gave her the vantage point to ogle some hunky male models.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated magazine, Kournikova discusses romance and health rumors:

‘I’m not married, not pregnant, didn’t have a boob job, no Botox. What else?

‘I’m a different person!. People say, “I can’t believe how much you’ve changed.” What did they expect? People grow, evolve. It would be sad if I didn’t change!’
