Olympic gold medalist (and Dancing With The Stars‘ disco ball champion.  We can’t forget he won the disco ball y’all) Apolo Ohno and his father Yuki Ohno got a head start on Father’s Day by attending the Omega Flagship Boutique in NewYork.  Apolo is an Omega ambassador and also a very busy guy.  He Tweeted (Twittered?) earlier today:

40+ radio and TV interviews this morning…7+ hours straight! 11 min of sleep. Let’s do this! Bringing attention to what I believe in! Yes!

Wow, to function on 11 minutes of sleep shows just what kind of stamina this young man has! This is what separates gold medalists from regular folk I suppose! Can you last on little sleep? I would be grunting, slobbering down my chin and probably crying.

Olympic medalist (and Dancing With the Stars champ) Apolo Ohno has become the OMEGA Ambassador for the watchmaking company and paid a visit to the flagship store in New York on Fifth Avenue this afternoon.

Apolo Tweeted about the visit:

Had an awesome time at the Omega Store on 5th avenue. I signed my watch & it’s on their wall with a pic! I was in heaven! Cool partnership

He seems like such a sweet, hard-working young man.  A fabulous role-model.
