There are a lot of Backstreet Boys fans that are going to be having a very Merry Christmas with the news that the boys will be releasing a new album in 2012! Howie D delivered the happy news during his visit to Clevver Music where he sang his new single 'Lie To Me' (love it!). It was an acoustic performance for the site's 'Live on Sunset' special.

He also gave an exclusive interview where he gave the very good news. He also talked of how the Backstreet Boys reinvent themselves with each album they release:

"That's always the challenge working on new albums; trying to push the envelope, trying to always top the last album. But that's what we do. That's one of the reasons why we take our time to make the record the best it can be."

Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean tied the knot with long time girlfriend make up artist Rochelle Karidis in Los Angeles on Saturday with famed photographer Tyler Shields being their wedding photographer!

The couple have been engaged since January of 2010 but postponed the planned May, 2011 wedding when  A.J. checked into rehab earlier this year. 

The wedding was attended by boyband royalty such as:  Joey McIntyre and BSB's Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough and Nick Carter.

Backstreet Boy Howie D drops his solo album today 'Back To Me' and TWO lucky viewers of ineedmyfix.com are going to have a chance to win a copy of his CD! I had a chance to review the album and for all of you Backstreet Boy fans you won't be disappointed! He brings the boyband flavor to the album but with his own style.

Lie to Me is probably my favorite from the album but I have to say Sleepwalking and This Is Just What I Needed (where he's ready for round 2 ladies!) are pretty fine!

He told MTV:

"I started working on this record a little over five years ago. … I really felt like I wanted to make sure it was the right record," he explained. "I didn't want to rush something out there. I believe that first impression can be last impression, and the last thing I wanted to do was have people be like, 'Oh, wow, he should be in that box.' "

New Kids On The Block along with The Backstreet Boys (or NKOTBSB) have been on tour together this summer and hit up Las Vegas baby on July 3 where they attended an after party at the Chateau Nightclub Gardens in the Paris Hotel.

Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Nick Carter, Danny Wood and Howie Dorough all made fans super happy by partying with them. Imagine the chance to get up close and personal?

Yesterday the temperature in Toronto soared and it wasn’t just weather-related.  And all of your NKOTBSB hotties were there performing at the Air Canada Centre: Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, A.J. McLeanand Howie Dorough.

What do you think of New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys getting together for these concerts? It’s a great idea isn’t it? All that boy-band badness in one place. Jordan Knight seems to think it’s a winning combination:

“We have enough hits under our belts [...] there are two boy bands coming together to entertain the masses. I think people really like that.”

“It’s going to be all about the music and all about the guys. There’s a lot of hits and there’s two groups. If one group starts getting tired on the stage, you pass it to the next group. The next group brings the energy up.”

Were you at the concert last night? Do you plan to see it wherever you live? I had the opportunity to attend last night but I couldn’t. I know, right? Let’s hope that they keep this up and tour together. It seems to be a winning tour.

Last night they drew a crowd of 14,000 and they play another show in Toronto tonight.
