Simon Cowell sat down with former girlfriend, and Extra host Terri Seymour to discuss all of the rumors surrounding the X-Factor including the very shocking firings that recently occurred. Interestingly enough he blamed himself for opening his big mouth on how huge the X-Factor was going to be and when it didn't live up to expectations, there had to be a shake up:

"It's only because I opened my big mouth and said we were going to get 20 million [viewers]. If I hadn't said that, everybody would be saying the show was a huge success."

He admits that he discussed the firings with the FOX executives at the beginning of the year and reacts to Paula being fired:

"I would've liked to have kept her. She was very gracious and I said that to her. She understands it's business; it's never personal."

As for that Beyonce rumor that she is joining the X-Factor for $100 million, you can forget it. The show's entire budget is $100 million:

"No. I have no idea where this rumor came from. I read it online that I offered her $100 million a year. It's complete nonsense."

Although Simon refuses to discuss who is on the list for season 2 of the show, Terri did throw some names out there to gage his reaction: Madonna, Elton John, Mariah Carey and Katy Perry. Watch the video and see his take on those celebs.

Beyonce made her first public appearance last night exactly one month after Blue Ivy Carter's birth to support husband Jay-Z's United Way of New York City and The Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation benefit concerts.

She sure has bounced back to her pre-pregnancy body very quickly, hasn't she? Some might argue all that involved was the removal of a pillow or good genes. 

Before singing Glory, the song he wrote when their daughter was born, he told the audience to 'Put a hand in the air for Blue,' After he performed the song he said: "I didn't think I was going to make it through that one," he said, sounding emotional. "That was tough."

Jay-Z was also joined by a 30 piece orchestra and his friend Alicia Keys.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have trademarked their daughter Blue Ivy Carter's name so that you can't. The application was filed by Beyonce's company BGK Trademark Holdings. Not only that but the name has been reserved to produce a line of baby carriages, diaper bags, baby cosmetics and other items for the baby in your life.

But the most interesting part of all of it is they submitted the trademark on January 26 and fashion designer Joseph Mbeh filed a trademark application on January 11 and he was DENIED. Denied before the parents of Blue Ivy even filed theirs leading some to speculate that the Carters received preferential treatment in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He alleges he wasn't out  to profit off of their baby but wanted to pitch the idea to Beyonce and Jay-Z. Allegedly.

However their is the exception to the Blue Ivy trademark rule and that is a lady who trademarked the name Blue Ivy in January of 2011 (long before Beyonce was pregnant with her daughter) and operates a boutique in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. If she is approached to sell the name to the Carters it would probably be akin to win the freaking lottery!

New mom Beyonce is reportedly going to be making her first public appearance since giving birth to her and Jay-Z's baby Blue Ivy Carter. As we reported yesterday Jay-Z's New York club 40/40 is having it's grand re-opening tomorrow after having a major renovation and Bey is supposed to be on hand for the festivities.

Reports are stating that the opening is tonight and therefore her appearance is tonight, but the club's website states the grand re-opening is tomorrow night. Unless today is really Thursday which makes me super happy because we are that much closer to the weekend, but I'm pretty sure it's only Hump Day. I always know when it's Hump Day.

Either way it's going to be insane if Beyonce does make the grand reopening which will only be eclipsed when we see the first photos of Blue Ivy.

Rihanna is pretty pumped about a gift she got from RocNation. Maybe Jay-Z was handing out Jeeps to all of his artists to celebrate the birth of his and Beyonce's new baby girl Blue Ivy?

She's going to ride that baby like a skateboard!:

Since the end of December, rumors on the internet have been rampant as to whether Beyonce has given birth to her and Jay-Z's baby. She had originally said that she is due in February, but clearly that was just to dupe the press. Today word broke that she had checked into the Lennox Hill Hospital under the name of Ingrid Jackson. She and Jay-Z rented out an entire floor at  the cost of $1.3 million. All staff at the hospital were required to sign a confidentiality agreement and in addition to that, cell phones were confiscated and tape was placed over security cameras!

It looks like Rihanna has announced via Twitter that the Beyonce and Jay-Z have given birth to a baby girl:

Although a formal statement has not been made, if Rihanna is tweeting about it, it has got  to be legitimate! Also the little Angel's name is apparently Ivy Blue Carter! I LOVE that name.

Update: Gwyneth Paltrow (who is BFF's with Beyonce and Jay-Z) advised us via Twitter of the baby's correct name: Blue Ivy Carter.

Congratulations to Rihanna and Jay-Z on their bundle of joy! You just KNOW this little girl is going to be Daddy's little girl in no time!
