Oddly enough, looking at this picture of Christopher Meloni, I’m thinking it should be Wednesday (hump day) but it’s not.  But that’s okay because it’s still Christopher Meloni with his guns ablazing.  And despite him posing the same in most of the pictures, I’ve included them all.  Reason?  It’s Christopher Meloni.  Pay attention.  :)

Christopher joined people like Julia Roberts, Emma Roberts, Julia Stiles, Shannon Elizabeth, Padma Lakshmi, John Krasinski, Billy Crudup and Sam Rockwell at the LAByrinth Theater Company’s 6th Annual Gala Benefit at St. Paul The Apostle Church in New York last night.

The latest ‘Jennifer Aniston Dating Rumour‘ is that she and Sam Rockwell are dating.  A source tells Grazia magazine:

“Jen and Sam have recently been on a couple of low-key dates, including dinner at Sunset Tower. Sam has been concerned about them getting photographed – he is keen to keep it under the radar for now,”

“Trudie instigated the meet-up. She thinks Jen is a lovely girl and that she and Sam are a perfect match. They are enjoying themselves. It is early days. They have been sending flirty text messages and having a lot of fun.”

Who cares.  I still have pictures of Christopher Meloni.

Marion Cottilard and Penelope Cruz pose at the New York screening of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and I have to say I did not recognize Marion with her hair shorter and so straight.  Can we talk boots on Ms. Penelope Cruz?? How sexay are those??

Robin Wright Penn, who by the way looks fabulous with darker hair and since she got rid of that excess baggage, has the lead in this movie:

After her much older husband forces a move to a suburban retirement community, Pippa Lee engages in a period of reflection and finds herself heading toward a quiet nervous breakdown

Blake Lively plays the younger Pippa Lee in this movie written, and directed by Rebecca Miller and says of her love scenes with Alan Arkin:

“Well, I think it’s uncomfortable, laying in strategically placed clothes that are taped on your body, in front of some strangers. That’s always uncomfortable,” Lively admitted. She then added, “But, I was with Alan and Rebecca [Miller], and our wonderful D.P., and it was a very private set. We’re all actors, we’re all professionals and we all understood what was happening. Everybody is uncomfortable with those scenes. You’re never going to be comfortable being half-naked in front of anyone. But, it was fine. It was a short scene.“

Speak for yourself, Blake.  Give me a half-naked scene with Kiefer Sutherland and it wouldn’t be me that would be uncomfortable but those on the set watching me and Kiefer with our crazy monkey love moves, he he he.

Jennifer Aniston took part in ‘The 24 Hour Plays‘ at the American Airlines Theatre in New York last night where she performed with Brooke Shields in Ramen Noodle, and showed off her vocal ability with a rendition of Beatles classic Yellow Submarine.

Celebrities have less than 12 hours to fine tune their performance before taking the stage.  Taking part in this grueling task:

Billy Crudup graces the cover of February’s issue of Best Life magazine and talks about aging in Hollywood:

“Being 40 – well, that makes sense because last year I was 39.  But the fact that I was 25 fifteen years ago is insane.

Everything in Hollywood is geared for people between 25 and 35, and I’ve discovered that only a handful of actors and actresses come out of that period still getting a lot of parts.”

Although Mary Louise Parker and Billy Crudup broke up in 2003, (he left MLP for Claire Danes while MLP was carrying his child!!) they both were in attendance at a party that, according to sources visibly upset The Weeds star to see Billy with his date:  Elizabeth Reaser. 

For those of you who don’t know who Reaser is, she plays “Ava” on Grey’s Anatomy.  If you remember Ava is the girl who got a new face.

Apparently she needed to be held up as she walked out of the event.  Too much booze or Billy, who knows?  Although it has been 5 years, I guess when someone leaves you while you are pregnant for someone else it will stay with you for a while?  Don’t you think?

She was with Crudup for 7 years.
