Or fired out. Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am was escorted out of the London Hilton on Park Lane yesterday when the 28-story building caught fire, and smoked out all of it’s prestigious guests. This is a very swanky hotel, near Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.
Thankfully there were no injuries and everyone got out okay. No word on the cause of the blaze either.
I wonder if we will hear a new song inspired by the haze?
Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas teamed up with Ben Mor (“I Gotta Feeling,” “Meet Me Halfway”) in Tokyo where they filmed the video ”Just Can’t Get Enough” just one week before the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit. Fergie says of filming the video:
“It was the easiest video I ever shot because it was us living our lives,” explains Fergie. I love that it’s showing a true perspective of how it can sometimes be lonely on the road away from our loved ones. It also demonstrates the love and connection we have with Japan. Our heart goes out to all of the Japanese people who have been affected by this natural disaster.”
Taboo:
It was an amazing moment in time because Japan has always been my favorite place on the planet and it was great to do our video there! God bless the Japanese our love goes out to them.”
The song appears on their sixth studio album, The Beginning, which is available on iTunes now.
What do you think of the video?

The upcoming Super Bowl (XLV) is going to be at the Cowboys stadium in Arlington, Texas on February 6. This is the brand new, ridiculously expensive, luxurious stadium that is also flanked with a curse. The Cowboys suck this season. It’s the first season in the new stadium and it’s been nothing but “bad” all the way.
But thankfully, they won’t be appearing in the Super Bowl so, whoever does make there, should be okay.
Aside from the football and tight pants on the man meat, there will be a killer halftime show headlined by The Black Eyes Peas. They always put on a good show, so I think they are a great choice. In fact, they are a lot better than a few of the acts they’ve chosen for Super Bowl shows.
Now…. who’s going to be playing in the Super Bowl? Any predictions?
Rihanna strikes a pose on the red carpet at France’s NRJ Music Awards yesterday. The award show wasn’t without some drama and major awkwardness as an award announced for the Black Eyed Peas was withdrawn due to an error. D’ohh!!
They opened the show with I Gotta Feeling and later picked up a trophy for Best International Song. After that Ke$ha and choreographer Kamel Ouali announced the Black Eyed Peas had also been crowned Best International Group.
But then Ouali returned to the microphone to admit there had been an error – and he had read out the wrong name by mistake, handing the award instead to German rockers Tokio Hotel. Apparently the audience erupted into boos. Who can blame them?
The same thing happened last year when Katy Perry was announced as a winner for Best International Song when in fact Rihanna had won.
Perhaps the contents of the envelope are a tad confusing and should be revamped?? Just a suggestion
Rihanna won for Best International Female, Robbie Williams for Best International Male.
In case you missed it, last night the American Music Awards were on and were opened by Janet Jackson with performances by Rihanna, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, Green Day, Alicia Keys with Jay-Z, Eminem & 50 Cent, Whitney Houston, The Black Eyed Peas and Adam Lambert. Of them all my favourite performance was by the Black Eyed Peas. My least favourite? Unfortunately Rihanna.
Michael Jackson posthumously won 4 awards: Favorite Soul/R‘n’B Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Male Vocalist Favorite Pop/Rock Album and Favorite Soul/R‘n’B Album.Taylor Swift beat out Michael and others in the Artist of the Year award. She, herself looked shocked (via satellite) when she won and said:
“To even be mentioned in a category with Michael Jackson is an unimaginable honour. I’m sending my love to the Jackson family.”
