A former bodyguard of Britney Spears‘, Fernando Flores (I think that’s him pictured above) filed a lawsuit against her on Wednesday claiming sexual harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress due to her constantly flashing him and making inappropriate suggestions etc.

He is also claiming that Britney acted inappropriately in front of her children including whipping them with his belt.

Britney’s ex-husband and father of her children, Kevin Federline has come to her defense.  Or rather he had his lawyer dispute the claims:

Kevin Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told The Associated Press that Flores’ accusations had been looked into before the suit was filed and warranted no action. He said Federline takes any allegations of abuse or wrongdoing regarding the former couple’s children seriously.

“He is satisfied that the allegations are a product of economic motives,” Kaplan said. “They are as baseless as they seem.”

Federline has custody of  Jayden James and Sean Preston but Britney has ‘substantial’ visitation rights.

Fernandes worked for Britney Spears less than 6 months and additionally tried suing another former employer Advanced Security Concepts Corp although AP does not state what that lawsuit was about. No one at his former company was willing to talk about it.

Britney has had her share of tough times for sure, but to suggest she hits her children with a belt seems a bit outrageous to me. Misguided is one thing.  Malicious and evil are quite another and Britney is neither. I’m glad that her ex spoke up even if it was through his lawyer.

I hope Britney turns around and counter sues this guy for slander and defamation of character.

Britney Spears has unveiled the advertisement poster for her latest fragrance Radiance on her Facebook page.  I think she looks absolutely gorgeous in her ad. Photoshopped or not, it’s gorgeous. How many fragrances does she have now?

Britney Spears’ collection for Candies is available July 1 and only at Kohl’s.  The limited edition collection is aptly entitled “Britney for Candie’s can be purchased at kohls.com/candies just in time to start purchasing back to school clothing. What?? Didn’t summer just start? But remember kiddies it’s a limited edition and you know it’s going to go fast.

Britney Spears says of the collection:

“I was so excited when Candie’s asked me to design my very own clothing collection. Designing was a really fun, new way for me to express my creativity and I really wanted to create something by me for my fans. I hope you guys love it.”

According to the press release:  “Britney for Candie’s” is a mixture of day and evening looks, from the best jean to the must have LBD (Little Black Dress). The collection was inspired by Spears’ favorite music and movies and personally designed by the star.

The collection of apparel, handbags and jewelry will range from $14.00-$78.00. That is very reasonably priced.  Good bye Walmart, hello Kohls.com (me hope my hubby isn’t reading this).

Britney Spears hit the Abbey restaurant in West Hollywood with her bodyguard and looks glum  I wonder if she is just plain unhappy in life (with the exception of her adorable kids of course) or being gawked at constantly and surrounded by paparazzi drives her nuts.

I would hate having people in ‘my space’.  The daggers would be coming out of my eyeballs at rapid speed.  Unless the guy was hot and I wanted him touching me inappropriately.  Then I would give him sexy eyes.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Yogurt.  Britney Spears and her manager/boyfriend Jason Trawick grab some frozen yogurt in Calabasas, California where Jason is walking a respectable distance behind Brit.  Doesn’t he work?

She doesn’t look happy. He looks like a puppy dog, ‘Hey Spike‘.  Of course the write up with the photos is that there is trouble in paradise.  Maybe Brit just wants to eat her yogurt in peace.

Mind you I think Brit and her bodyguard make a better couple.  But I don’t think his wife would agree with me.

Britney Spears and her bodyguard pick up boyfriend Jason Trawick and head to a hotel in Santa Monica yesterday.  I’m not sure how romantic a couple can get with a bodyguard in tow, but who am I to judge?  I also don’t understand what her fingers are doing in all the pictures.

I think Britney Jean is looking fabulous these days, and although I don’t know enough about Jason I just think this ‘coupling’ doesn’t seem right to me, yet I can’t put my finger on it.  Perhaps it’s because every time I see her with him, she isn’t smiling and in fact looks quite unhappy.  Am I alone in this?  What do you think?

Britney Spears and her bodyguard went shopping at Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood in a pink form fitting dress (Britney, not  the bodyguard), black stockings and black boots and left with a white tank top, shorts (?) and the same stockings and boots.

They mentioned (with the photo) that it was bizarre behaviour and I’m not sure if this is similar to what she did when she went through a difficult time but I hope Britney is okay.

Personally there are lots of days I hate what I’m wearing and would love nothing more than to walk in a store and walk out wearing something that looks wayyy better.  I don’t have a black Amex unlike Britney, bitch.  Wouldn’t you like to do that too?

I must say that she is looking to be in really fine shape!

If Britney Spears and Jason Trawick broke up, they did so on very friendly, affectionate terms.  Here the two are in Beverly Hills shopping hand in hand and Britney is also very prominently displaying a diamond ring on her engagement finger.  Whether she is engaged or she just bought that bauble out of boredom, who knows?

She looks fabulous, but I wouldn’t say she looks exactly ecstatic.
