Charlie Sheen is spreading the good news that he isn't crazy anymore! Those days of WINNING and Warlockery are a thing of the past he told reporters at last night's Fox Network Television Critics Association:

"I think I'm a different person than I was yesterday. Everything is a lot more mellow and focused and much more rooted in reality."

That's good news considering his old life was one big downhill spiral that cost him a very lucrative gig on Two and A Half Men. But he's moving on to his new series, Anger Management that sees him as star and producer. The shooting has begun and he's excited:

"I've been at this 30 years. It's nice to be in a situation where the people I'm working with are excited about my input. That wasn't the case for a long time,"

And no more Goddesses for him either. These days Charlie is kicking back with his kids and enjoying a drama-free life for the most part. I suppose trying to get his ex-wife into a rehab program has been a bit drama-filled but he seems to have put that part of his life behind him.

It's nice to see him in such a good place!

The mother of Charlie Sheen's twin boys (and ex-wife) Brooke Mueller has been arrested in Aspen on suspicion of cocaine possession. Back in August we had reported that she was going through rehab on Charlie's dime and that she and him were getting along great and staying sober together.

In addition to the felony drug possession charge, she was charged with misdemeanor assault. This all went down last night where she had a sleep over at the Pitkin county jail. She was released this morning on $11,000 bail.

No other details yet. It's sad that Brooke can't get it together for the sake of the kids (not judging just saying and thinking of the kids).

Charlie Sheen getting fired from Two and A Half Men is kind of like what winning the lottery would feel like to you and I. In his settlement, Charlie Sheen is getting $25 Million from Warner Bros within a couple of weeks (can you freaking imagine knowing that much money is coming to you?) and will get more over time.

And by more I mean $100 million. That's over a 5-7 year span, mind you, but that's STILL $14-20 Million PER FREAKING YEAR. And that's all because he filmed 180 episodes in his final year and that $100 million represents syndication profits. Please shoot me.

You know, Charlie was smart enough to have that negotiated into his contract and he did the work so power to him. The downside is that he may find it difficult to work in Hollywood, but with that kind of money he can buy his own projects.

As we reported Charlie Sheen was a presenter last night at the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards and he was gracious, humble and to me, seemed kind of moved to the point where he looked to be fighting back tears as he gave a shout out to his castmates of his former show Two and A Half Men.

He presented the Best Actor in a Comedy Series, as he pointed out his old category:

'From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best, for this upcoming season'

He shared a picture of him and Ashton Kutcher backstage where he tweeted:

Charlie Sheen is getting his groove back what with his Comedy Central Roast airing tomorrow night  in the the same time slot that Two and A Half Men airs their new season with Ashton Kutcher) and the expectation is that he will be at tonight's Emmy Awards presenting an award according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In recent interviews Charlie Sheen has shown a much softer and humbler side with the madness a thing of the past. Even he admits that he would have fired his own ass given the behavior. Last week a very healthy looking Charlie Sheen appeared on Jay Leno and Jay asked him what the catalyst was for his changing to which Charlie admitted he realized he was 'LOSING'. It was funny. He was very humble on Jay Leno, it's actually quite impressive that he is seeing things clearly and objectively admitting his remorse and behavior:

"I own my part of it. I just want to make everything right … I should have been a little more responsible for the condition I was showing up in."

You have to respect a person that can sit back and own up to their behavior. And he's shown nothing but grace toward Ashton Kutcher telling Jay that there is no advice he could give someone so accomplished.

Charlie Sheen is promoting his upcoming Comedy Central Roast (which airs Monday, September 19) with a video spoof taken right out of the pages of his dad Martin Sheen's Apocalypse Now movie.

The video starts with a voice over of Charlie Sheen saying 'I was going to worst place in the world – cable.' With the exception of the word 'cable' that is a direct line from Apocalypse Now.

Cut to Charlie  in a pool with camouflage on his face and of course a couple of sexy girls by the pool when his father yells at him and tells him to come in the house: 'Charlie get inside and wash your face. It's past your bedtime.'

As the girls are walking away they can be heard saying: 'His father used to be the President'. Referencing of course Martin Sheen's role in The West Wing.

It's a cute video and it's nice to see Charlie Sheen back to healthy. And it's always nice seeing his iconic father. Watch the video and let us know what you think.

Charlie Sheen (who looks so much healthier than at the height of his issues) got roasted at Comedy Central at the Sony Studios in Los Angeles Saturday night by the likes of Seth MacFarlane (the host of the roast), Jon Lovitz, Jeffrey Ross, Mike Tyson and even Private Practice star Kate Walsh. It would have been pretty awesome to have Lisa Lampanelli there, however she was already booked for a show and couldn’t get out of it. She tweeted that she plans on roasting him on Twitter during the broadcast.

Charlie Sheen is a pretty easy target for one of these roasts so you can imagine what the jokes touched on: drugs, prostitutes, and of course the very-public firing from Two and A Half Men.

You can watch the edited version of the roast on September 19 which also happens to be the night that the new Two and A Half Men premieres. Like that was a coincidence?

Some of the barbs:

Jon Lovitz:  How much blow can Charlie Sheen do? Enough to kill two and a half men,”

Jeffrey Ross: “Don’t you want to live to see your kids take their first 12 steps?” ”Charlie… If you’re winning, this must not be a child custody hearing. The only time your kids get to see you is in reruns,”

Kate Walsh took a jab at not only Charlie Sheen, but the show’s host Seth MacFarlane:

“The only difference between [Seth] and the hooker Charlie locked in the closet is the hooker eventually came out.” 

“It’s amazing, despite all those years of abusing your lungs, your kidneys and your liver, the only thing you’ve had removed is your kids.”

But you know, Charlie is a big boy and he can take it:

“Until tonight I never realized how f***ed up I was. I just thought I was having fun.” He then shot back at the roasters, including Walsh, saying “I don’t know anybody who watches your show, because I date woman who can still get their period.”

“Once again I have come out unscathed,” ”You can’t hurt me. I can’t kill me,” he concluded. “Did you really think your little jokes were going to hurt me? I did porn stars. I did drugs. Then I did the one thing everybody in America wishes he could do. I told my boss to f*** off. And then it was gone. … I’m done with ‘the winning’ because I’ve already won.”

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller was there with him and she too looks really healthy. It is so great that these two seem to be getting it together!

This photo of Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller in a private jet heading to Mexico would suggest that the two are back together no? It certainly looks that way.

Charlie told TMZ that he’s take Brooke to Mexico as a reward because:

“busting her ass with the boys, and [she's] more sober and healthy than I’ve ever seen her.”

She does look great as does Charlie and I hope that these two can keep up the great work. Charlie seems to be heading down a great path that includes peace and calm. He’s even showing tremendous support to ex-wife Denise Richards and her book being on the New York Times best seller’s list:
