Cheryl Cole’s interview with Piers Morgan is set to hit U.K. television on Saturday. And although she purged her innards about douchebagy IDIOT ex-husband Ashley Cole (my words not hers) it didn’t make her feel warm and fuzzy inside she tells BBC Radio 1:

“No, it wasn’t really cathartic. It felt a bit wrong. I was talking about stuff I wouldn’t talk about to my closest friends. I felt I had to though; it was getting so ridiculous with rumours. People were getting ideas I’m someone I’m not, I needed to get my voice back,” “It was almost like it was a soap opera and it’s my real life. When it’s all out there on Saturday I can move forward. I would have been nervous to come on here before because people want to know personal things and it’s not about that, I have great things going on, I’ve recorded an album. It was becoming like I was closed in, I was becoming a caricature of myself, my personal life was bigger than anything.”

She says that Katy Perry, who recently performed on the X-Factor, is not a girls’ girl:

“Katy Perry was nice, but no,” She’s very strong, she’s got her own opinion, but I love her. She’s a bit more tomboyish in her way, she’s a bit loud with a big personality.”

I think Katy Perry has a good heart but she would be exhausting to be around.  Cheryl talked about the Malaria she suffered while in Tanzania with Derek Hough:

“Your body aches and your skin hurts to touch. I had blood tests. I was given 24 hours at one point… let’s not go there,” “My mum was strong, she was my rock. I was in and out of consciousness. Yes, Derek helped me. I did Piers Morgan and I spoke about this and it’s the last time I want to.”

And although she refused to discuss Derek Hough, she did say of Will.i.am:

“Will’s a friend, a good person. He’s always up, I don’t know what he does but he’s always around, always,” “He’s very reliable and inspiring, I talk to him, I come off the phone and I feel like a different person

If she isn’t willing to talk about Derek but is willing to confirm that Will.i.am is just a friend, what conclusion can be drawn except her and Derek were more than friends? Or am I analyzing the sh*t out of it?

Cheryl Cole is getting ready to share her talent on the USA version of The X Factor with Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger.  Meanwhile, she’s been a busy girl with the release tour of her autobiography, ‘Through My Eyes.’

Cheryl was at Waterstone’s Piccadilly in London to do a book signing and my goodness she looked gorgeous!  I think this is the best I have seen of the rising star. I am loving her khaki shirt with the camo pants, teamed up with the strappy heels. And how about the book cover?  It’s gorgeous!  The cover alone makes me want to buy a copy, and yes… of course I will.

Will.i.am is very excited for his gal pal,

“I’ve heard she’s going to be a judge on ‘The X Factor’ in the States. Wow, she’ll do great. The public will love her.  I hung out with Cheryl recently. I was in the judges’ house. She’s cool. She’s a great artist and we’re good friends.  I think the US are gonna latch on to her in a big way. She’s awesome.”

Cheryl Cole performed at the O2 Arena in London last night and I have to say this woman is breathtakingly beautiful.

I hate calling her Cheryl Cole because I think of the douche she married (notice she’s not wearing a ring…thank GAWD), and although some people know her by her maiden name (Tweed) I think the majority of people recognize her with the Cole surname.  Unfortunately.

Maybe she will go back to her maiden name and rid herself of ‘him’ for good.
