Chloe Sevigny was in Miami Beach, enjoying the beautiful weather that does not reflect your typical winter.  Wearing a very cute, mismatched bikini, Chloe splashed in the waves and enjoyed the company of her friends, food, and fun for the day.

So now that Big Love is ending for her, what’s next?   Rumor has it that she’s heading to the Broadway show Extremities alongside Katie Holmes.  I could definitely see her on Broadway with Katie!  I hope this isn’t just an unfounded rumor.  Chloe has been amazing on Big Love and I want to see a lot more of her from here on out.

Kate Hudson, John Krasinski, Ginnifer Goodwin, Chloe Sevigny but most important a shirtless Colin Egglesfield are on the set of Something Borrowed in New York City.

Apparently Colin sparked rumours of an onset relationship with costar Ginnifer when he told PopEater he bought her a necklace:

“She’s a sweetheart… She’s someone I’m really fond of. (I bought her) a very special gift… It’s the key to joy.”

Damn.  Hot, sexy and thoughtful. But apparently Ginnifer’s reps have blasted those rumours saying they are totally false. Not saying the rumours are accurate but  I really doubt the reps are going to confirm them even if they were true.

Based on the screenplay The Apartment, Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth opened on Broadway last night in Promises, Promises a musical comedy based on the novel by Neil Simon with music by Burt Bacharach and Hal David.

The website describes the comedy as:

It’s Manhattan. It’s the ’60s. And the city is back in full swing, in Broadway’s first-ever revival of PROMISES PROMISES—starring Emmy® Award-winner Sean Hayes (Will and Grace) as Chuck Baxter, the enterprising associate on the way up, and Tony® and Emmy® Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked) as Fran Kubelik, the cafeteria waitress whose romantic troubles have got her down.

“It was awful this season, as far as I’m concerned. I’m not allowed to say that! It was very telenovela. I feel like it kind of got away from itself. The whole political campaign seemed to me very far fetched. I mean, I love the show, I love my character, I love the writing, but I felt like they were really pushing it this last season. And with nine episodes, I think they were just squishing too much in.

“Oh God, I know. Oh, God. It’s too much. It’s too much. But I hope the fans will stick with us and tune in next year. There’s a lot of people who really love this season, surprisingly. God, I’m going to get in so much trouble.”

‘Men are intimidated by me…My friends say, ‘You have to find someone more famous and successful than you, or someone who’s so happy with their own life they can handle the attention you get.” I want to be worshipped and adored, but then again I also love to be ignored. Hurgh! It’s the same old, same old. Getting older doesn’t bother me at all. Well, other than the baby pressure. I do want to have a baby,”

Forgive me if I sound catty because I’m not a catty woman.  I can completely accept when a woman is gorgeous, sexy, smart and all of that but two things come to mind reading this:

1.  No.  Men are not intimidated by you.  Perhaps by someone like Angelina Jolie or Sophia Loren but not you Chloe.  Yes I know this sounds extremely bitchy of me but whatever.

2.  How difficult could it possibly be for Chloe Sevigny to find someone more famous and successful than her?  The guy that lost all that weight eating subway sandwiches and landed a deal with them would fit the bill, who unfortunately I hear has gained weight back (I really don’t know if this is true or not nor do I care) but whatever.

Some people are so delusional.  I’m just saying.

Both HBO and The Weinstein Company (as in Harvey Weinstein) held the after parties last night at Beverly Hilton and Beverly Hills hotel respectively.

Yeah, you know you love that picture.  It was either Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler or Halle Berry.  I just wanted to tease the Gerard Butler fans

Before I get on with the winners of last night’s Golden Globe Awards, I just want to mention that I really enjoyed Ricky Gervais hosting.  What we saw of him.  I would have really liked for him to be on stage more often.  I particularly liked when he introduced Mel Gibson by saying:

“It’s not my fault. I like a drink as much as the next man. Unless the next man is Mel Gibson”

I’m sure your jaw dropped to the floor like the rest of us and the celebrities in the audience.  Mel didn’t seem bothered by it and in fact went along with it.

Sandra Bullock showed off her perfect German in her acceptance speech by telling her kids (she is step-mom to husband Jesse James’ kids):

“to brush their teeth and go to bed”

Although my television went black during his speech, I enjoyed watching Robert Downey Jr via YouTube:
