Mr. Big with a Big Mustache-Titanic: Blood and Steel

Mr. Big with a Big Mustache-Titanic: Blood and Steel

“Titanic: Blood and Steel”, television mini-series set to air in 2012,  stars Chris Noth (and a very impressive walrus-like ‘tache) as J.P. Morgan, Kevin Zegers (doing a very good Tobey Maguire impression) and Neve Campbell who plays Joanne, a reporter, who are all pictured below at a photocall held at Howth Castle in Dublin Ireland. I had no idea this was even in production. I can only imagine the producers wanted to capitalize on the fact that a. 2012 will be the 100 year anniversary of both Titanic’s maiden voyage and her sinking b. James Cameron’s Titanic is set to be rereleased in 3D next year to coincide with those milestones as well.

The mini-series plays out over twelve episodes and is currently still in production in Northern Ireland and Serbia. It deals with a time period before the famous ship ever set sail. It details how the luxury liner was built in Belfast by the White Star Lines over a period of 15 years from 1897- 1912, and at a cost of 105 lives.

Directed by Ciaran Donnelly, best known for “The Tudors” and “Camelot”, “Titanic: Blood and Steel” also stars Liam Cunningham, Ophelia Lovibond and Derek Jacobi as Lord William Pirrie, whose company was responsible for the construction of the ship. It doesn’t have distribution yet, but I’m betting that’s what the photocall was for; to drum up some interest. It sounds good. We’ll keep you posted. Enjoy the pics of the photocall and the production.

'That Championship Season' Official Premiere

The official premiere of ‘That Championship Season’ took place at the Bernard B. Jacobs theatre in New York last night where the stars of the play, Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Chris Noth, Jim Gaffigan and Brian Cox took to the stage in the 1972 Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning 1972 drama written by the late Jason Miller.

It was a star-studded affair at That Championship Season’s official premiere with Paul Wesley, Sarah Jessica Parker, Julianna Marguiles, Marg Helgenberger, Robin Williams and other celebrities attending.

How handsome does Kiefer look in his tux? He looks hot up on stage too.  I really don’t know how the women in the audience abstained from crawling up on stage when no one was looking. Saying that in my head sounded much less stalkerish than writing it out.

Kiefer Sutherland Meets and Greets Fans In New York

Kiefer-sutherland-that-championship-season

Kiefer Sutherland meets and greets fans in New York outside the Bernard B. Jacobs theatre in New York where he is making his Broadway debut in Jason Miller’s 1972 Pulitzer prize winning (as well as Tony Award-winning) drama That Championship Season.

Chris Noth as well as Jason Patric (his late father wrote the play) are also outside signing autographs but my crazy eyes could only focus on Kiefer. Rounding out the cast are Brian Cox and Jim Gaffigan:

“On the anniversary of their victory in the Pennsylvania state championship game, four members of the starting lineup of a small-town Catholic high school basketball team gather with their coach to re-live their youthful glory. As the night progresses, the long buried grudges and secrets of the once-confident players surface, threatening not just their solidarity, but the meaning of their victory. With savage humor, That Championship Season probes the darkest aspects of the American dream of success at all costs.”

The play has its official open tonight at 6:30 p.m and runs through until May 29.

In case you’ve been on some remote island where internet is an unknown word, Kiefer joined Twitter. You can stalk follow him @RealKiefer.

Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Chris Noth at ‘That Championship Season’ Photocall [Photos]

Kiefer Sutherland got his hair did a little spikey for the photocall of his new broadway play That Championship Season. The show also stars Jason Patric, Chris Noth, Jim Gaffigan and and Brian Cox.

Are You Ready For Some More Kiefer Sutherland?

I’m going to have to double-check but I’m pretty sure I may just have soiled myself a little with excitement. Even if this play sucks hairy balls it would still be worth seeing just to see Kiefer live and in person and hopefully get close enough to smell him.

The show is directed by Gregory Mosher, opening at the Bernard B Jacobs Theatre on 6 Mar 2011, following previews from 9 Feb 2011, where it will close on 29 May 2011.

If any of you go please, please, please let me know how it was.

Celebrity Sightings in Los Angeles [PHOTOS]

Halle Berry and Garcelle Beauvais leave the Barefoot  restaurant in Los Angeles looking like they are going to kick the ass of the photographer.

Mila Kunis leaves the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. I heart this girl.

Chris Noth rocks a grey beard outside of Starbucks in Santa Monica. I wonder if his pubes are grey. Oh come on.  You’re wondering too.    Sweet. This cold medication is really kicking in.

Hellcats star Ashley Tisdale leaves her house where she is greeted daily with pappers staking it out. Lucky girl.

Kiefer Sutherland To Hit Broadway. With Jason Patric

It is rumoured that my future husband Kiefer Sutherland is set to hit Broadway with Sex and The City’s Chris Noth in That Championship Season.  Bed bugs or not New York here I come!

It is a revival of Jason Miller’s 1972 play that will see Jason Patric, Brian Cox and Jim Gaffigan in the show that will be directed by Gregory Mosher.

Kiefer Sutherland Chows Down [PHOTOS]

It is the story of former American college students that are reunited with their basketball coach 20 years after winning the state championship and reminisce about their younger years.

Twenty years later they still look to their coach for advice. Mr. Anne Sutherland is said to be playing James Daley – a local junior high school principal.

Jason Patric is set to play the brother of James, Tom Daley, who is described as an unsuccessful, cynical alcoholic. I need to not type anymore.

Kiefer Sutherland Will Continue To Have Horrific Strip Joint Moments

Personally I can not see Kiefer and Jason on the same stage for weeks (maybe months) at a time given Jason and Kiefer were once best friends up until Jason ran off with Kiefer’s soon-to-be-bride Julia Roberts.

I think Kiefer dodged a HUGE bullet and should be thanking Jason, but friends don’t boink your fiancee, do they? So it is this that makes me wonder if this is just a rumour.  They haven’t spoken since.

The word is it is expected to hit Broadway in March, 2011. My birthday is in March.  Do you think this is Kiefer’s birthday present to me, because I’m pretty sure it is. How obvious can the dude be, right?

I will start saving for my stay in New York.  And by stay I mean for as long as this damned production is running I will be parking my arse in New York City.  Holla!

Chris Noth’s Gamble [PHOTOS]

Chris Noth's Gamble

Mr Big himself Chris Noth attended the launch of Live Table Games at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania on the weekend.

Judging by the look on his face I don’t think his roll at the craps table worked out to his liking.

Chris also shows off a Sex and the City slot machine.  And if you notice Mr Big is on top. You know that’s no coincidence :)   He looks mischievous in these pictures which has started my motor purring a little.

‘Sex And The City 2′ Premieres in London

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have taken Sex and The City to London to premiere their sexiness.  Joining them were Mr. Big himself, Chris Noth and Mario Cantone.

I aint never seen any hair accessories at Walmart the likes of which is on SJP’s noggin.  It kind of blends in with the trees, but I tried to get a couple of pictures where you see it real good.  And I’m sorry :)

And despite the film getting some not-so-good- reviews (critics don’t always speak for us now do they?) their midnight ticket sales are up from the first Sex and The City Movie from 2008 grabbing $3 million! Two years ago, on Memorial Day weekend, Sex and The City made $57 Million.  Do you think SATC2 will surpass this?

Are you going to see the movie?
