If you aren't into football like I'm not into football then you probably like the commercials and the half time show the best. Betty White appears in a commercial for the new season of The Voice which also features Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and of course Cee Lo Green (who also performed half time with Madonna).

In the ad the four stars are combating one another to get to the person whose voice they hear singing beautiful. The 60 second piece was directed by Peter Berg. The 'Voice Kombat' parodies 'Mortal Kombat'.

When they reach the vocalist Betty White says to them:

It's about time somebody wanted me for my voice," White says seductively, "and not my body."

The Voice will premiere right after the Super Bowl.

On January 20 the world lost the legendary singer Etta James and last night other notable greats came together to honor her. Christina Aguilera paid tribute to Etta by singing the late singer's infamous 'At Last'. I've been reading a lot online of people's opinions on Christina's version and while she is not Etta, this is a tribute and I'm not sure if a song is supposed to be imitated the way the singer would have sung it or one does their own version? What do you think?

I think Christina did an amazing job but it would have been nice to see less boobage seeing as it is a funeral afterall.

Christina had this to say about Etta James:

"It isn't every day that an artist can meet the person who inspired them and their career. Not only did I have the incredible opportunity of meeting my idol, the legendary Ms. Etta James, but to be asked by her family to perform at her memorial was so very touching and yet bitter sweet. 



"Etta wasn't just any performer, she was a strong woman whose talent came from a place so deep it moved people in ways they never felt before. Losing her was, to me, like losing a part of my soul. 



"I can only hope that she felt the love in the room as we all came together to pay tribute to her and celebrate her life as a person and as an artist. She will be deeply missed and I thank her family for allowing me such a great honor."

It was back on August 4th that we first reported Kelly Osbourne calling Christina Aguilera a Fat Bitch. Flash forward two months later and Kelly Osbourne is still going on about Christina Aguilera's weight gain on the Fashion Police when she said: "She called me fat for so many f***ing years," Osbourne vented, "so you know what? F**k you! You're fat too."  Are we really doing this post? Yes we are. It's called a slow news day.

Christina performed at last weekend's Michael Jackson Tribute concert where she was wearing a less-than-flattering outfit that was 'discussed' on The Fashion Police. Kelly wasn't the only one with the barbs. Joan Rivers said of Christina Aguilera: "Lady Marmalade got into the peanut butter again" Despite that being very cruel (and it is) it is a funny play on words. 

Fellow Fashion Policer George Kotsiopoulos indicated that despite the weight gain, Christina Aguilera is probably still a size 2/4. Because Kelly STILL can't let it go she quipped: Trust me," she said. "I'm a 2/4. That is not a 2/4."

While I love both Christina Aguilera and Kelly Osbourne, I think it's time Kelly STOPPED ALREADY. Mind you if she did I wouldn't have anything to write about would I? Hmmm. Decisions, decision.

Whether Kelly was or wasn't as heavy as Christina is now, who cares? Christina is older and she's had a child, and from the rumors (if they are true) loves to party. A lot. Life has a way of smacking us upside the head, so Kelly needs to clam it. What's really sad is that this is from NINE years ago.

And on that note, my ice cream awaits me biotches.

Christina Aguilera has a new scent called Secret Potion that she promotes in this advertisement where she's in the elevator and one spritz and she's all glittered up and sparkly-like. Man I wish there really was a fragrance that did that or I spray something on my body and I suddenly have Kiefer Sutherland all up in my lady bits (as I look down at him, you get the picture). Now that would be a company I would invest in.

It's just a 21 second spot that features some porny type elevator music and a voiceover that isn't her. I love the night view of the city skyline in the glass elevator. Other than that it's nothing outstanding but it's Christina and I love me some Xtina. What do you think?

Christina Aguilera - The Voice

This week the internets were in overdrive at the rumors and speculation that Christina Aguilera was getting fired from her new show The Voice. Well we can confirm that is NOT the case as The Grand Fromage of The Voice Mark Burnett, spoke with E! Online's Marc Malkin and gave him the exclusive:

"You're the first person I've spoken to about this," Burnett said at this morning's Emmys red carpet rollout with Jane Lynch (Burnett's producing Sunday's big awards show). "Christina is absolutely staying. She is not going anywhere, 100 percent. We were emailing with Christina yesterday. They're all back."

Burnett hinted at how he thinks the rumor got started.

"It's ridiculous," he said. "You know what it is? Nervous other shows. So you know what I say [to that]? 'Good try.' "

While she got on our nerves a little bit last season, you need to have that estrogen injected into the show. She's a great mentor and an incredible singer. 

The Voice returns to us on February 5 right after Super Bowl XLVI. Will you be watching? Hell Yeah!

Christina Aguilera may be a household name because of her powerhouse vocals, but she also can get star struck my those that she admires. Singer Adele is such a person that Christina admires. Christina attended Adele’s concert last night in Los Angeles and tweeted the above picture:

It’s nice to see girls supporting one another in the same field. I love that Christina is such a person. These ladies are two of my very favorite singers!

On an episode of Fashion Police, Kelly Osbourne 26, called Christina Aguilera ‘a Fat B*tch’ after Joan Rivers said of Christina’s dress that she wore to her Munich fashion launch.:

“She looks like Snooki’s Scandinavian cousin. It’s a pretty dress but she’s stuffed into it.”

‘Snooki’s Scandinavian cousin? I know that’s cruel but that’s also very funny. I love Joan Rivers she really cracks me up.

That’s when Kelly really went for the jugular:

“Maybe she is just becoming the fat b***h she was born to be. I don’t know. She went on to say: “She was a c**t to me. And she bought my house!”  ”She called me fat for so many f***ing years, so you know what? F**k you! You’re fat too.”

Apparently the cat fight started back in 2002 when Kelly made a disparaging remark about Christina Aguilera on The Osbourne’s reality show. Did you ever watch that show? It was so funny to watch Ozzy try to understand the women in his life. I can still hear him: Kelly…I don’t f*cking know what you want, Kelly. If you didn’t watch you won’t get.

Seeing as it’s been nine years and all, maybe it’s time to bury the hatchet?

Christina Aguilera is turning heads the wrong way on NBC’s The Voice. It looks like her diva attitude is making a super sized comeback.  Yeah, she’s plumping up in more than one way.

FIRST LISTEN: Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green ‘Nasty’ – Audio

An In Touch insider reports that,

“Christina didn’t wave or say hi to the audience. She came out three minutes before the show started and appeared to be in a horrible mood. She didn’t crack a smile until Cee Lo Green reached out to high-five her. During commercial break, she had about six people working on her all dressed in black and red ‘Team Xtina’ shirts, and one person had a bottle of water with a straw she held as Christina sipped.”  Later, “Christina threw her Louboutins on her desk and ran out holding her bladder. Someone ran out to get her shoes in a tizzy and the judges all looked at each other trying to figure out where she went.”

Okay, she is either going super diva on us or she’s all knocked up.  What do you think it could be?
