After last night’s elimination show in which Mike The Situation Sorrentino was voted off the dance floor, he along with a bunch of others from Dancing With The Stars attended the Doctrine Clothing and Devotion Vodka launch event, held at Boudoir – Inside in West Hollywood.

He was on Good Morning America this morning where he explained the reason the judges were so harsh on him because they:

“were trying to make a statement”  ”It’s kinda like the first day of class when you see the most popular kid in class and wanna make an example of them.”

Perhaps his cocky attitude rubbed them the wrong way and maybe he does have a point (a very small one), but truth of the matter is he isn’t that great of a dancer.  And no offence to The Situation, but I’d say Jennifer Grey is the popular kid in the class this season.

Back to last night’s launch. Lots of your favourites from the show were there including:

• Derek Hough (okay he’s a big favourite of mine)
• Mark Ballas (again a big favourite of mine)
• Cheryl Burke
• Kym Johnson
• Rick Fox
• Corky Ballas
• Kyle Massey
• Joanna Krupa

Even John Cho showed up.  I find him hot.  Very hot.

Did you watch Dancing With The Stars tonight? Were you surprised by anything? Who do you think will be going home tomorrow night?

Audrina Patridge & Tony Dovolani did pretty good on their dance but I think my favourite part was when they showed the clip during their rehearsal time and how Tony said if they didn’t get three 8’s he would wax his legs.  Their score was 8/8/7. I almost think Bruno did that on purpose, lol.  So next week we will see the footage of his wax job and I can’t wait. I’ve seen photos of him getting his back waxed so he knows what he’s in for   8/8/7

I didn’t really like Chelsie Hightower making Michael Bolton coming out of a dog house. I think that was humiliating for him, but being the good sport he was he did it. I don’t believe for one minute her intention was to humiliate him.  She’s too sweet for that, but it was an ill-conceived idea.  I would have told my partner to stuff it. It served no value to their dance although I understand because the song was ‘Hound Dog’. It was still unnecessary.  4/5/3

I didn’t think Brandy & Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s dance was all that good.  Brandy wasn’t as good as I thought she would be.  What made it worse was how she treated him both during rehearsals and as they were standing in front of the judges.  It wasn’t nice at all.  Not cool. 7/7/7

Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough were OUTSTANDING at the Jive.  Its unbelievable she is 50!! I love her spirit and personality during her dance. 8/8/8

Rick Fox & Cheryl Burke did pretty good.  You have to admit for a big guy he’s pretty smooth  7/7/7.

Florence Henderson & Corky Ballas – You know for a 76 year old lady she is pretty awesome. And she made Len happy! If you notice her first two scores are her age? Coincidence? No way.  I’m kidding. Don’t send emails 7/6/6.

Margaret Cho & Louis Van Amstel –  Their Jive was better than last week’s dance. At times she lacked a little ‘energy’ but holy crap what a switch from last week.  6/6/6

Kyle Massey &  Lacey Schwimmer –  I love his personality on the dance floor He’s so adorable and he cracks me up. Their Quick Step was pretty good!  8/7/7

Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya I loved it when Kurt said  ‘I’ve been booed by lots of people, one old guy from England isn’t going to bother me’  Anna looked really hot in her outfit. He was pretty good. I think Brooke Burke has a crush on him she always gets this smirk on her face.  It’s a different smile than normal  7/7/7

Mike Sorrentino & Karina Smirnoff did the Quick Step and he looked good cleaned up.  They were off a bit in some of their steps but I think he tried really hard.  6/6/6

Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas did the Quick Step and although I think she’s a bit nervous she was actually quite good!! 7/8/7

When I first learned of the line up for Dancing With The Stars season 11, I thought the dance troup from the local retirement home would have been more exciting, but as it gets closer to the season premiere (one more sleep y’all) I’m getting excited. I won’t ever fist pump, but I am letting out some squeals.

All of the celebrities and dance professionals look happy as they are seen outside of the dance rehearsal studio.  If you want some spoilers for tomorrow night’s dances, TMZ has the lowdown. Celebrities pictured:

Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough were eliminated last night on Dancing With the Stars and as is the case with every couple that is eliminated they appeared on Jimmy Kimmell Live.  I for one will miss them because they are adorable together, but I don’t think she was as hard on him as she has been on other celebrities.

As well, last night the Ballas Hough Band performed at The Grove and Derek Hough’s love, Shannon Elizabeth was on hand to support her man, as well as Tony Dovolani, and Corky Ballas (Mark Ballas’ father).
