I like Kim with bangs. Plus I think she’s lost weight, her face looks thinner to me. What do you think?
I’m not up on the latest Dancing With The Stars’ gossip, but I’m thinking Karina and Maksim really are a couple!! They both seem to have really strong alpha type personalities, but when they are together they seem to have mellowed a lot.
I’m late with this….crazy day. Last night’s Dancing With The Stars’ was done a little differently with the Samba Dance-off but it was great.
My favorite part was the Freestyle dancing. I wish I didn’t have to say this but I think Lance and Lacey’s Freestyle was uneventful. I think he has come such a long way, but I was hoping for more from him last night. Warren and Kim did really great I thought.
But you have to admit, Brooke and Derek were exceptional!!! And Bruno’s comments about Brooke last night had me almost on the floor. I’m not sure what was better “Brooke is the model everyone wants to drive” or “You ended up in positions I’ve only seen in the Kama Sutra”. He was on quite the roll last night. He clearly had it bad for Brooke. Who can blame him.
So who do you think will take home the Disco Trophy Ball tonight??
We were all shocked by Brooke Burke’s first dance, no? But in all fairness, her very first dance of the season wasn’t even that bad, and at this point to have a bad one how can we hold it against her? She has been held up to a higher standard than the others. I have mixed feelings as to whether that is fair or not to her.
She recovered with the second dance though, didn’t she?
She seemed so off. She also seemed to be covering her upper lip. Her upper lip looked like something had happened to it or she had something ‘done’ to it. She seemed very self-conscious about it. Is it just me or did you notice the same thing?
Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer rocked the house last night!!!! So glad to see it. So glad his grandpa got to see it. That was incredibly touching.
Always enjoy watching Warren Sapp and his enthusiasm and wonderful spirit!! I felt bad for Cody Linley, he seemed a bit defeated and on the verge of tears with the judges’ critcisms.
At this point in the competition it’s never nice seeing people go home, because they are the cream of the crop, but someone has to. I believe tonight Cody will. Who do you think is going home tonight?

It’s getting down to the end of the season and I find this the worst time because everyone is so good to be left at this point and it’s sad to see someone leave.
The man who coined the phrase ‘Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner“, Maurice Greene was eliminated last night. I really enjoyed seeing him but of all the contestants I think it was probably the right choice at this point.
That leaves Cody Linley, Lance Bass, Warren Sapp and Brooke Burke.
I think this season will see Warren Sapp and Brooke Burke battling for the disco ball trophy. Who do you think will win?
Did you watch last night? Considering that Julianne Hough had surgery like 2 weeks ago, she blew me away with her performance with her brother Derek Hough. Derek has really grown on me this season. When people are backstage waiting for their scores and he pops his head up on camera, it cracks me up. He has really come out of his shell and shown us a very playful side this year!

Last night was probably one of the more interesting Dancing With The Stars Show.
Warren and Kim did not do their best performance, which is too bad because he is awesome, and he looked a little pissed about the judge’s comments. Did you notice? Maybe his feet were hurting considering he didn’t have the right shoes on. How does something like that occur?? Is it the wardrobe department’s fault?
Maurice and Cheryl did a fabulous dance, right? Glad to see that.
Susan and Tony got great comments from the judges, and no, I am not a ballroom dancer or judge, but I DON’T GET IT!!! I’m sorry I know she’s sweet and blah blah blah, but her dancing is terrible. She moves without fluidity and looks like she is trying to remember her steps. It doesn’t look natural. Sue me.
Lacey and Lance danced beautifully. But the footage before the dance?? WTF was that all about??? I know it is edited, and we possibly didn’t the whole ‘scene’, but it looked like Lacey wigged out over, oh I don’t know, NOTHING. Poor Lance. I’m glad she apologized to him.
Dancing in bare feet?? Yuck. Germs. Those that know me are laughing right now. Howie Mandel would sympathize.
The first ‘group’ dance? It was good, but I felt Susan Lucci did not do very well, and yes, it was all over the place. Lacey and Lance were ripped off because of the others.
The second group: outstanding!!!! They totally worked as a team, no? And rocking.
And last, but certainly not least, Brooke and Derek. Poetry in Motion. PERFECTION, which is why they got the first and only (thus far) 30 of the season:
My prediction for tonight: Susan Lucci goes home.
I swear if Brook Burke doesn’t win this thing, I will stop watching the show. I swear. Okay maybe I will still watch but I will be seriously pissed.
Update: Oops. I was just emailed and reminded that DWTS is not on tonight because of the election and will return on Wednesday.
Dancing With The Stars’ Brooke Burke talked to OK! Magazine about juggling life with 4 kids, how she stays fit (she doesn’t seem obsessed at all with fitness) and her hunky fiance David Charvet whom she actually had a romance with 15 years ago!!
What’s it like competing on DWTS?
It’s scary. We’re pushing our bodies to the limit. I had no idea what I was getting into. I’ve never felt this sore! I’ve been getting massages and taking a lot of Epsom salt baths.
Did you expect to do this well?
No. Derek and I are a great team. Fortunately, we’re able to communicate our feelings, which has made us stronger.
We’ve been doing well in the competition, but when the judges say I was born to dance and it looks so natural — none of this is coming naturally! I have a really hard time remembering the choreography, and it gets frustraing for Derek.

I love Cloris Leachman, I can’t believe someone of her age did what she did, it really is remarkable. But I don’t think it’s a surprise that she was voted off. She’s a wild woman!! Here she is on Jimmy Kimmel after being voted off.
