Your daily dose of Fassbender is special today, indeed. Not only do we have some unbelievable pics from yet another hot magazine cover story but we have some shots of Michael as he makes his entrance and exit from the David Letterman show yesterday.

The Fassinator brought the shark smile to The Late Show for the first time and while he may have seemed a tad nervous when he walked out, he needn’t have been. I haven’t seen David Letterman as engaged with a guest and as interested in the movie that guest is there to promote in a long time. Not only was it clear that ole Dave has actually seen Shame, but he enjoyed it and admired Fassy’s performance.  Take a look for yourself:

Minka Kelly was on David Letterman last night promoting her new series Charlies' Angels when they got onto the topic of her turning down Playboy. Turns out a former Playmate wanted to manage the gorgeous actress and offered to get her a job at a plastic surgeon where in return for her office skills she'd get plastic surgery. 

I know a lot of people would think DEAL, but Minka is gorgeous and doesn't need it and thankfully at the tender age of 19 she realized that:

"I was 19. She was very seductive and said that she wanted to manage me and that I had a lot of potential," Kelly said. "She said that she could get me a job at this doctor's office in return for plastic surgery which I would need to be a Playboy Playmate."

"When I told her that I didn't want that, she said I would never be Playmate of the Year and I said, 'I think that's okay. I'm okay with that.'"

"All I needed was lipo, fake breasts, a few veneers and all kinds of stuff," the actress laughed

Can you imagine telling a 19 year old they need all that? Who needs Playboy? David Letterman told her 'the stuff you have is fine'. No kidding! David has a major man-crush on her former boyfriend of 3-1/2 years Derek Jeter and of course brings that up as well!

David Letterman has taken the Jihad threat that wants his tongue cut out, and turned it into his monologue in true David Letterman style.

He thanked the studio audience for being there saying:

“Tonight,” he said, “you people are more, to me, honestly, than an audience — you’re more like a human shield.”

He went on to talk about insurance policies:

Backstage, I was talking to the guy from CBS,” he explained. “We were going through the CBS life insurance policy to see if I was covered for jihad.”

CBS News is reporting that a threat urging other Muslims to cut out the tongue of David Letterman was posted on a Jihad website.

Since then CBS has added security to the offices of the show including bomb-sniffing dogs.

Lady Gaga on David Letterman

Lady Gaga was on “The Late Show with David Letterman” last night for her first time ever and wow.  She made an impression.  Dave was rambling about some of the crazy ass things she’s done on stage, like eating Barbie doll heads…. and she takes his cue cards from him… he continues rambling… then she rips them in half then starts eating one…..

“I’m just so fed up with all of this,” she said, “Mmm, it’s delicious.”

OMG!  Who knew she had such a sense of humor!  This girl totally rocked SNL this week and now this!  I guess we are seeing a whole new side to Gaga as she just released her latest album, Born This Way yesterday.  Have you heard it yet?

It looks like Lindsay Lohan is going to be doing the Top Ten List on David Letterman this Thursday night.  My first thought is, WHY?  This guy has been ripping on her left and right.  I know that all celebrities should have a somewhat thick skin and not take everything to heart, but Lindsay has been pretty upset by Glee for ripping her and her mom.  Why should she give Letterman the time of day?

I will admit, I am not fan of Letterman…. I am a true COCO fan.  I like funny guys. They tend to make me laugh a lot more that crusty old bastards.

Anyhow, do you think that Lindsay is stooping too low by agreeing to do the list? She will be doing it via satellite by the way, so yeah, she won’t be flying out to New York City for the taping.

UPDATE: Lilo will NOT be doing Letterman after all.  Her dad is the one who booked it and she’s saying NO.  She tweeted,

“I am NOT going to be doing David Letterman, I’m not sure how this happened, but I am sorry for the confusion…”

Betty White appeared on the David Letterman show where she was promoting Hot In Cleveland. The icon turned 89 on Tuesday and when David asked her what she liked to do in her spare time she said play with animals and vodka.

Out came the vodka and the two of them shared a drink. Kind of. You’ve got to watch. It’s a great clip.
