Leonardo DiCaprio tries to be as inconspicuous as possible at Day 2 of the 2011 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, but there’s no mistaking that baby face. Even with a baseball cap covering half of his face and it being nighttime, your grandmother would be able to identify him.

Joshua Jackson is feeling the love for Diane Kruger big time as he can’t keep his paws off of her. I love that. Now that’s a man in love.

Katy Perry, Brittany Snow, Dominic Monaghan and others were  also seen walking the grounds at Day 2 of Coachella.

Last night the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place in Los Angeles honouring your favourite movies and television voted for by members of SAG.

I just love the gowns that these women wear and to me there were three that really stood out:  Christina Applegate, Holly Hunter and of course Helen Mirren.   I don’t know that the picture does justice to Helen’s dress because when she walked out on stage she was absolutely breathtaking.

It’s difficult to have one favourite dress when so many women looked so gorgeous last night.  Some of my favourites were Kate Hudson, Emily Blunt, Heidi Klum, Fergie, Calista Flockheart, Helen Mirren, Vera Farmiga, and Sofia Vergara to name but a few.  However I have to say that Penelope Cruz really stood out to me.  She looked like a princess.

Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock both got honours for best actress at last night’s 15th Annual Critics Choice Awards with Sandra winning for her role in Blind Side and Meryl for her role in Julie & Julia.  Sandra said the win was an honour and went on to describe just how similar she and Meryl are:

“I love food and sex like Meryl. That’s how similar we are. You guys just didn’t notice it until now. Meryl is a good kisser”

The Hurt Locker received Best Picture and Best Director for Katherine Bigelow. It is the first time a woman has received the award. Ex-husband James Cameron was also up for the award for his movie Avatar, and gave her a standing ovation when she won.

Avatar won six awards including:  Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Visual Effects, BestSound and Best Action flick.

Sherlock Holmes‘ Robert Downey Jr., Guy Ritchie, and Mark Strong are joined by Diane Kruger, Joel Silver and January Jones for dinner at Lutter & Wegner in Berlin, Germany.

I think I’m going to text some friends to see if they want to meet in Paris for lunch.  Now that’s the life, isn’t it?

Robert Downey Jr. has had to pull out of Cowboys & Aliens citing scheduling conflict. Rumour is that it conflicts with the Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man sequels.
