Drea de Matteo and Shooter Jennings welcomed their second child on Thursday, and it’s a boy!  Shooter Tweeted the happy news to fans,

“Waylon Albert ‘Blackjack’ Jennings has arrived.  Thanks for all the kind words folks! We’re super lucky to have so many kind friends!”

Drea De Matteo is Having Baby Number Two!

So now their daughter,  big sister Alabama Gypsyrose (3) is ready for this new adventure in life of big sisterhood!    Congratulations to the growing family!!

Drea de Matteo and Shooter Jennings are having another baby!  They are making their daughter, Alabama Gypsyrose who is now 3, a big sister.

Drea De Matteo Is No Longer A Desperate Housewife

This hot couple has been going strong for nine years now and they’ve been engaged for about a year and half.  What’s the hold up there?  I hate long engagements.  Just get married already.  But then again, these two have been together long enough, it’s like they already are.

Drea is already five months along and will be having a spring baby.  How nice for her.  Getting to go through the “fat” part and not be in the sweltering heat is so much better!

Producers of Desperate Housewives have confirmed that Drea De Matteo will not be returning next season. Apparently in November rumours had surfaced that Drea was fired because of lackluster ratings but the producers are saying that isn’t the case at all (as to her being fired..I have no idea if the ratings are bad or what..and I’m kind of too lazy right now to look).  Executive Producer Marc Cherry:

“Part of the deal when (we) hired Drea was she was only interested in doing one season. She has a baby and is eager to get back to her life in New York.”

Drea was brought in to play the wife of an Italian family who have some type of skeleton in their closet that we don’t know yet.  Although I still haven’t watched Sunday’s episode so possibly something more has been revealed.

I thought her character and the dynamics surrounding that brought a lot to the show. Drea’s last episode will air in May.
