To watch Chad Ochocinco improve on Dancing With the Stars was really great.  He did do so much better than at the beginning of the season but it wasn’t enough to keep him for next week’s finale.  And he’s fine with that, except for one very important thing:

“absolutely fine…I will miss everybody” ”I told Cheryl as long as she doesn’t leave my life, I’ll be fine. That’s the only thing.”

“Getting eliminated, all the work we put in, it’s hard,” he admitted. “But the time that I spent with her was awesome.” ”The only one that really really means a lot to me is Cheryl.

Cheryl added:

“He’s so sweet,”"We’ve built a really strong friendship and I hope we’ll be friends forever.”

Considering he gave her a very beautiful diamond ring and necklace (not to mention the way he talks about and looks at her) it’s hard not to believe these two are not involved, but he is about to start a dating reality show called The Perfect Catch. Perhaps it’s a case of the show being in the works before he met her? I refuse to believe they aren’t in love

When asked if she would appear on the show Cheryl replied:

“Possibly! Sure I’ll help him find somebody!”

Chad and Cheryl will be missed.  I was always looking forward to their chemistry and what new piece of bling he bought her each week

Dancing With The Stars’ Tony Dovolani and Maksim Chmerkovskiy created their own signature milkshakes for Millions of Milkshakes last night in Hollywood.  That picture is adorable.  They look like a couple of little boys having fun. Too cute.

Did you watch Dancing With The Stars last night? It’s getting down to the wire and the pressure is on.  Two dances last night which must be brutal to learn, but all in all the stars did great. I didn’t care for Maks‘ pants during the Rumba.  A little to high on the waist (which I realize reflected the period in time they picked).  Although I suppose it could have been right up under his man boobs and it wasn’t so I should be grateful for that

I almost fell off my chair when I read this on TMZ.  NFL legend and former Dancing With The Stars contestant Lawrence Taylor has been arrested in New York on suspicion of rape.  According to TMZ:

Officials have released a statement confirming 51-year-old Taylor was taken into custody by police after someone accused the Hall of Famer of committing rape early this morning at a Holiday Inn in Suffern, NY.

The Town of Ramapo Police Department is currently investigating the situation.

Apparently Taylor has a history of arrests including multiple times on drug charges and also a hit and run. The police department will be holding a press conference in a few hours.

He appeared on Season 8 of Dancing With The Stars and was teamed up with Edyta Sliwinska.  I know very little if anything about him, so this is very shocking.  Are you shocked by this?

The View’s Elizabeth Hasselbeck is coming under a lot of fire from the Dancing With The Stars pros and celebrities and rightly so.  In regards to Erin Andrews‘ costumes, Elizabeth had this to say:

“In light of what happened … and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room … I mean, in some way if I [was] him, I [would be] like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’”

I understand Elizabeth is very conservative but that is akin to saying ‘she was asking for it’ or girls that dress provocatively are asking for it which is beyond STUPID but also exonerates rapists, and predators from their actions, not to mention shows her complete ignorance.  As a woman and a mother (of a daughter!) Elizabeth needs to get her head out of her ass.

Erin cried when she heard what she had to say and responds:

“I think people can have opinions about the show, but my biggest complaint is she’s a woman and a mother and it was a mockery of something I’ve lived through this last year. … I felt like it was a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators.”

Erin’s dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy came to her defense:

“”I’m the one designing [Andrews'] dresses for the show, so I’ll just assume that [Hasselbeck] is jealous… and stupid….

Dance pro Louis Van Amstel Twittered to Elizabeth:

“Why did u have to throw @erinandrewsespn under the bus this morning? Shame on [you] … Leave her alone. Aren’t u all working for the same network ABC/ESPN???? U should have each other’s back, not trashtalk Erin.”

Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek even weighed in on it:

“So disappointed that anyone would attack [her] after all she’s been through.”

The fact that it was men who came to Erin’s defense of Elizbabeth’s view should tell her a lot.  What is considered sexy is a very subjective thing.  Are women supposed to dress according to what doesn’t set a freak off? What if turtlenecks gets some psycho all worked up?  Should we cease to wear those as well?  Should everyone stop living and going out because of Terrorists? Where is the logic in what she was suggesting?

Let’s stop making excuses for inexcusable behaviour (sexual assaults, stalking, and predator-like behaviour) and teach people what is allowable and what isn’t.

Women changing the way they dress does not address the real issue.  Elizabeth really owes Erin an apology not to mention shut her pie-hole.

Update:  On todays The View, Elizabeth was very apologetic (she cried and she did appear sincere) and mentioned she personally called Erin to apologize.  While that is good (and appropriate) I think she still doesn’t realize the ‘message’ her comment conveyed.

What would a season of Dancing With The Stars be without romance rumours? The latest one involves Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough.  A spy told the New York Post:

“He would grab her hand as soon as they walked offstage, and they were all smiles and whispers during ad breaks. Derek was constantly rubbing her back away from the cameras.”

I think it would be impossible to not develop a close relationship (and have chemistry) with the person you are dancing that closely with, but that doesn’t mean it’s romantic or sexual.  As you know, Nicole Scherzinger is dating race car driver Lewis Hamilton. Do you think there is any truth to the romance rumours with Derek Hough?

Yesterday she went shopping at the Armani Exchange before heading off to rehearsals.  A girl after my own heart.

Evan Lysacek is out and about in Hollywood after having had breakfast with some friends yesterday wearing a hat to hold in his grey matter.  Did you see his head injury from the behind-the-scenes on Dancing With The Stars?  He luckily only suffered a mild concussion but it was scary looking, wasn’t it?

And Evan is still in contention for the disco ball as he was not eliminated last night! Woo hoo! He admitted to E! Online’s Marc Malkin that everyone will miss Kate Gosselin (yes I know, I just spit a whole bunch of coffee onto my computer screen):

We all miss her for sure. All you have to do is spend five minutes with her to know what a sweet person she is and how nurturing she is.”

“It’s normal for people to make assumptions as much as one doesn’t want to do it. But you have to get to know someone.

“She is such a great mother. And that doesn’t stop when she isn’t with her kids. She was always like, ‘Are you okay? Do you need anything? Do you need a back rub?’

He is right that you have to get to know someone, but it’s kind of hard to discount her emasculation of Jon on their show.  But then again, I don’t think Jon is an easy person to live with, and has proved himself to be a bit of a douche, no? I really don’t know what I’m saying or where I’m going with this.  It’s early.  I have no business posting at this time of the morning.  None at all.

Do you love this season of Dancing With The Stars or what?  I have to confess that even though I have it on my TV every Monday night I am also Twittering and sometimes talking on the phone.  So I had actually missed this dance and I’m posting it for those of you who missed it because Maksim Chmerkovskiy takes off his shirt and I know there are lots of you out there who will likey.  I love the top half of the dress Erin Andrews is wearing (not a fan of the bottom portion) and the colour looks divine on her.  So are these two ‘involved’ or what?  If they aren’t I think there is lots of chemistry they are fighting.  I think she’s good for him.  What do you think?

Jake Pavelka misjudged the steps during his dance with Chelsie Hightower, but whether there are stairs or not, I think he tends to trip over his clown feet anyways.  I’m not sure why, it’s not like they are huge or anything.

Cheryl Burke and Chad Ochocinco did absolutely fabulous last night compared to their other dances.

Derek Hough and Nicole Scherzinger as well as Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya were fabulous as always.

The group dance was not my cup of tea.  At all.

Pamela Anderson appeared on Larry King Live last night talking about her stint on Dancing With The Stars, her vegan milkshake with Millions of Milkshakes, living with Hepatitis C, and her kids.

She was joined by partner Damien in the second segment where Larry pretty much grilled them both to see if they have a relationship or not.  You’ll have to watch to find out the answer to that.  He he he.  I’m clever like that.
