Kristen Bell appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show promoting her latest movie Big Miracle where she talked about her 31st birthday with fiance Dax Shepard (last summer) and how he made it very special not only by having a birthday party for her but having a SLOTH come to the house. Apparently Kristen is enamored in a very big way with sloths.

So she's telling Ellen the story of how on her birthday there is a knock at the door and Dax tells her to take the dogs and go in the bedroom. At this point she has no clue it's a sloth. Then as she's in the bedroom with the door shut she realizes it's a sloth. She feels it.

Dax opens the door with a video camera and she shared her emotional meltdown with Ellen. Being the jokester that she is Ellen (at the end of viewing that clip) tells her there's one backstage and she immediately starts tearing up.

First of all I LOVE Kristen Bell. Seriously this girl is perfection. But I have to say she's got some big stones sharing that video of her emotional breakdown over the sloth and good for her. And isn't it adorable how Dax just totally gets her and loves her for all that she is? That's a beautiful thing.

Seriously this hysterical and worth watching.

Animal lovers and vegans Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi are putting their money where their mouths (and tummies) are and investing in an all animal-free vegan restaurant with rocker Chrissie Hynde and producer Steve Bing.

The restaurant will be located in the San Fernando Valley area and specifically on Ventura Boulevard. The chef that catered their wedding Tal Ronnen will be responsible for the restaurant's menu. 

No word on when this restaurant is set to open. It would be fabulous if they parlayed this venture into a chain of restaurants around the world. 

For those of you who are vegan or are interested in going vegan, Ellen is seriously committed to this and has started a website Going Vegan With Ellen that shares recipes and helpful tips.  She has a section of famous vegans and a lot of them have said they lost 20 pounds when they stopped eating meat. That's pretty motivating isn't it?

I LOVE Ellen DeGeneres and I lust after Keith Urban so to see Ellen in a long blonde wig getting all sexy on Keith Urban for his 'Phoenix' fragrance is just such a treat and so hysterical. But really how different is what she's doing to Keith Urban from what you all would like to do to Keith Urban, right?

The scent Phoenix is his fragrance, but the spoof is not an actual commercial (duhhh like you needed me to explain that). What a great sport Keith Urban is. And sexy. Did I mention sexy? I'm going to watch this a few more times.

I may need to borrow a couple of bucks for this one. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi are selling their Beverly Hills home for a whopping $49 million! However it's like three houses/lots being sold as one.

It's HUGE and it's gorgeous and it also happens to be the house where they got married in 2008. It's got 9 bedrooms and sits on 2.87 acres of prime real estate poodles.

Yesterday Ellen DeGeneres had a scare when she felt a tightness and heaviness in her chest whereupon paramedics were called to check her out. It turns out it was nothing and she was back taping her show hours after the scare.

She gave a shout out to TMZ who broke the story which was pretty funny, but her explanation in general was funny. Think hot firemen coming to the rescue. 

Glad to hear that Ellen is feeling good and that it's nothing serious at all!

Set your TiVo’s, PVR’s, DVR’s whatever you can for Monday’s Ellen DeGeneres shows bitches because Ashton Kutcher is getting naked! That’s right. This is not a wardrobe malfunction.

Monday marks season 9 of the fabulous Ellen DeGeneres show and it’s all about the Fall previews and in particular the new Two and A Half Men in which Ashton Kutcher now stars.

Ellen asks him if he’s ready for the new show and he responds:

 ”I’m ready. This is it.”

“Have you seen the ad for the show (Two and a Half Men)…? It’s getting a lot of attention. So I just figured I’m going to do everything nude from now on… Whatever I’m doing I’m just going to do it nude. Let’s do this.”

This is like the happiest day of my life. Will you be watching Ellen DeGeneres on Monday? Sure his privates are pixelated but it’s something! I’m totally loving Ashton with the hairy face and long hair. It’s kind of caveman like. Mommy likes.

I’m a huge fan of Ellen DeGeneres and even more so after this latest kind act she has performed.  She herself is a huge animal lover,  saw a 4-week-old kitten sitting on an ottoman at an L.A. furniture store.  It was covered in fleas, dehydrated and hungry.  Soooo sad!

The owner of the store said that the other two kitties from the litter had already died.  Ellen took the poor kitten straight to the vet where it received medical care and is doing much better.

She named the little fur ball Ridiculous!  Love it!  And now she’s asking the animal sanctuary, The Gentle Barn, to help find him a home.

I would assume someone already adopted Ridiculous,  but wow.  What a sweet story.  Thank you Ellen!

Even a little jar of it can go for $40,668.  Now that’s one hot commodity!  Justin Bieber took some of his precious locks of hair and put them in a little jar for Ellen DeGeneres as a donation for her to auction off.

Well, she did just that and thanks to an online casino, Golden Palace, the Gentle Barn Foundation has a large new chunk of funding.  This is an organization that rescues animals and rehabilitates them.  Now that is a worthy cause.  Perhaps Justin should be donating all of his hair trimmings for good causes.  This is the first I have heard of him doing so.

And a belated happy 17th birthday to you as well Mr. Bieber!
