Harrison Ford hates smurfs and he has good reason to: the latest Smurf movie is up against his movie Cowboys & Aliens at the box office.

He paid a visit to Conan O’Brien promoting his movie and told a funny story about how his wife (Calista Flockhart) took their son to see the Smurfs and how he’s going to try to get that money back.

Then he shows his true appreciation to the stuffed smurf.

Is it me or is Harrison getting funnier as he gets older? I don’t remember his delivery being quite so hysterical before.

Harrison Ford paid David Letterman a visit the other night promoting his latest movie Cowboys & Aliens and I have to say that this video is one of the funniest interviews on David Letterman.

Don’t know if Harrison Ford was high or what (I honestly think it was the schtick they were doing) but the chemistry between these two is incredible.

Universal and Relativity have delivered a whole batch of new hi-res pics from Cowboys & Aliens. Included are Daniel Craig as Jake Lonergan and Harrison “Grumpy” Ford as Col. Dolarhyde, of course, but we also get a closer look at Olivia Wilde’s Ella, Paul Dano as Percy Dolarhyde and Sam Rockwell as Doc. I even spy Adam Beach as Nat Colorado.

Two New Clips for Cowboys & Aliens

I’m especially fond of the one above. I like the way Daniel Craig’s ice blue eyes beam out from under that hat. We don’t even need to discuss the leather chaps, but holy schnikey will ya look at those arms?! And I just love the way he’s rockin’ that crazy steampunk bracelet! It almost looks like something he could walk down the streets of NYC wearing. (I’m pretty sure Gerard Butler has one just like it.)

With less than two weeks until roll-out, the publicity machine is in high gear for this film. TV ads are on every channel and every day and I probably get twenty Google alerts every day with some mention of it. There’s probably nothing I can say at this point *Spielberg* is that is going to influence anyone *Jon Favreau* one way or another *Ron Howard*if they haven’t made up their mind *Ryan Kavanaugh* about whether or not to see Cowboys & Aliens. In my excitement though, it probably won’t stop me from trying.

While some lucky Comic Con attendees will get to see it on July 23, Cowboys & Aliens opens in the US & Canada on July 29.

Jon Favreau is bringing us some more in the awesomeness department and I can hardly wait.  This is a really cool mashup up a film.  Cowboys and Aliens…. weird right?  I think way cool.  This one has a great cast including: Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, Noah Ringer, Keith Carradine, Clancy Brown, Ana de la Reguera, and Abigail Spencer.

I must have that dress.  OMG.  It’s fabulous! Rachel McAdams was jaw droppingly gorgeous at the German premiere of “Morning Glory” at CineStar Potsdamer Platz movie theatre in Berlin yesterday.  She is a true beauty no matter what she does or wears.  It’s just that in these photos, she’s an exceptional knockout.

I saw Morning Glory at the movies around Thanksgiving and I loved it.  I was laughing through the entire thing.  Harrison Ford is epic, in a way you’re not used to.  And then Rachel is just Rachel.  Which is fabulous!

TMZ is reporting that longtime loves Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart got married yesterday and the ceremony was officiated by Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico. The couple were engaged over Valentine’s Day weekend in 2009.

Harrison is filming Cowboy’s and Alien’s there.  The ceremony was held in the Governor’s mansion.

Congratulations to the happy couple.

While I realize that Extraordinary Measures is a movie that stars Harrison Ford, Keri Russell and Brendan Fraser and I probably should put one of their mugs as the main pictures, common sense prevailed and I put Gerard Butler’s instead.  He’s sexier, so sue me.  It’s Gerard Butler, y’all!  Need I say more? And I think he looks kind of hot in his jeans.

And of course it got me thinking to the sexual assault on David Beckham that I reported yesterday, and I wondered, what Gerard Butler would do if he had his gonads jacked in public by a complete stranger?  Would he have been horrified?  Methinks not.  The place would have turned into an orgy.  But I digress.

Last night was the New York premiere of Extraordinary Measures which is:

A drama centered on the efforts of John and Aileen Crowley to find a researcher who might have a cure for their two children’s rare genetic disorder

Harrison Ford also served as executive produced on the film which is based on a true story about a man whose children both have Pompe disease which is a rare form of muscular dystrophy that normally takes its victims before the age of 9.  The man, John Crowley quits his job and forms a biotech company with a brilliant researcher to look for a cure.

You know you’re going to need tissues for this film.

The environmentally conscious celebrities came out last night for the Environmental Media Awards held at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. 

Sir Richard Branson and Jason Mraz were honoured as were Centropolis Entertainment and National Geographic Society.   My spidey senses tell me that burning all the styrofoam yesterday was wrong.  Kidding!! Please don’t send emails.
