The pictures are a little grainy, but a grainy topless picture of Hugh Jackman is better than none at all, right? Not sure why he and wife Deborra Lee-Furness and kids are in Brazil but perhaps it’s a holiday?

Fear not little wolfies Hugh also confirmed at the People’s Choice Awards that Wolverine will be back:

“Wolverine’s going to be back. He’s going to Japan. We shoot that probably in a year, year-and-a-half, something like that.”

What better way to commence the last Hump de la Day of 2009 than with Hugh Jackman court side at the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls basketball game at Madison Square Gardens?

I get the impression looking at him that he’s the classic gentleman, and all around nice guy.  He’s sitting beside Dustin Hoffman and at one point poses with John McEnroe.  He also sits with Dustin’s kid and you can just see what a great man he is with kids.  Damn.  The total package, right?

Hugh Jackman, wife Deborra-Lee Furness and some friends pick their kids up from school in SoHo.  You know, when I was in New York last week I kept thinking to myself  ‘must go to SoHo’ because besides Hugh Jackman, I know there are other celebrities that either live or hang out there.  Sometimes I have no business having a celebrity gossip site.  Either that or I need to fine-tune my stalking skills.  Either way:  fail.  I hang my head in shame

Hugh Jackman and his lovely wife Deborra-Lee Furness attended last night’s 5th Annual Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala in New York.

Hugh’s ‘A Steady Rain’ costar Daniel Craig and his lady Satsuki Mitchell attended as well.  I’m still loving the pornstache Daniel is rocking.  Daniel reprises his role as James Bond with Bond 23 being in pre-production.  It has a release date of 2011.  Can you wait that long? 

Deobrra-lee Furness was honoured and her hubby Hugh performed.  The mission of the Worldwide Orphans Foundation:

To transform the lives of orphaned children by taking them out of anonymity and helping them become healthy, independent, productive members of their communities and the world

Weeds’ MaryLouise Parker, Wendy Murdoch and Dr. Jane Aronson also attended.
