Dawson Creek’s James Van Der Beek and his lovely bride, actress Kimberly Brook welcomed a baby girl this past weekend! It is their first child together and they named their little Angel Olivia.

He Tweeted to his fans:

“Had the blessing of becoming a father over the weekend… Couldn’t come close to describing this bliss even if I had 140 million characters… I apologise in advance for any obnoxiously precious new-dad Tweets that may follow. I’m under her spell…”

Awww how sweet is that? I love when a man gushes over a baby. It’s totally hot.

The entire world of celebrity pretty much married this weekend:  Chelsea Clinton, and Alicia Keys but the one celebrity who flew in under the radar (because he wasn’t wearing a pretty wedding dress like the other two) was Dawson’s Creek’s James Van Der Beek.  And if that wasn’t awesome enough he wrote the most amazing, romantic words on the most romantic place on earth, Twitter y’all:

I will forgive him his grammatical mistake of ‘did me the honor of became my wife’ because Twitter is restricted to 140 characters so grammar just kind of goes out the window and we embark on a whole new language, and also because he’s probably drunk with love.

James married his girlfriend the very pretty Kimberly Brook on Saturday although details of the event have not come out yet.  The ink had barely dried on the divorce from his previous wife Heather McComb as that divorce was official June 10.

Congratulations to the happy couple. They are expecting their first child together as well!
