Janet Jackson shows off her newly trimmed figure in her Nutrisystem debut that is sure to increase sales. We announced back in December that she was teaming up with them to help her combat her weight-loss struggles that she's had all her life. Three months later and she looks amazing and says she's lost the weight she wanted to although she will not divulge how much she has lost.

In the ad a very trim Janet says 'This is what success looks like'.  She goes on to state you don't have to count calories, get on a scale or attend any meetings. Look out Weight Watchers.

Janet Jackson has shown interest in being a judge on Simon Cowell's X Factor and if that's what Janet wants, chances are she's going to get it. That and the fact it would be AMAZING to have her on the show.

Janet sat down with Anderson Cooper who I guess was trying  to get it out of her:

“Oh my God,” the 45-year-old said on-air with a laugh. “No, I’m not a judge on The X Factor.”

“You’re not currently a judge on The X Factor,” responded Cooper.

“No, I am not,” said Jackson. “But that’s all I really think I should say.”

THR is reporting that Pink is also high on the list of potential replacements. I'm so excited by that prospect that I peed a little.

Janet Jackson 45, is the latest celebrity to put her name behind the NutriSystem weight loss program. Having struggled with her weight her entire life, (and being criticized for it) it was time to make a change:

“It’s a matter of maintenance and keeping the weight off,” she said. “My success plan was to feel good about myself and be healthy.”

The teasing started early on in her life with brother Michael Jackson telling her she had a big butt:

“Being the baby of the family, you get teased,” she said. “I carried that through my adult life.”

She realizes it was not mean-spirited because she is the baby of the family and got teased all the time, but women tend to latch on to those things, don't we?

When she joined the cast of Good Times, in the second season she was  told to lose weight. At age 11!!!!! During her life she sought comfort in foods that only contributed to her poor body image: ice cream, cookies, and potato chips. We can all relate to eating those types of foods can't we?

Check out the video below where she talks to ABC about her body image struggles (she had them even when she had her rock-hard abs), her beloved brother Michael and the Conrad Murray trial.

Last night marked the 20th Anniversary of Glamour Women of the Year Awards which took place  in New York.  Cher won the Lifetime Achievement Award and it’s no wonder.

She has an Oscar, a Grammy and an Emmy not to mention a career that spans 45 years.  What a lot of people may not know about her is her tireless humanitarian efforts such as helping to build a school in Kenya for Orphans and working with The Heroes Project to ensure soldiers’ headgear is more blast-resistant .

What’s next for Cher? Directing a film and doing some Broadway! Kelly Osbourne was thrilled to meet her last night and Tweeted:

I am lost for words at how beautiful @cher still is…. Damn she is one hot bitch!!!!

Janet Jackson looks happy as she waves to fans on the set of Tyler Perry’s latest directorial project For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf filming in New York City. That is going to be a very long title to place on movie posters.

Janet is rocking a new very short haircut.  What do you think of it? I personally love it on her.  She has such a beautiful face she suits anything. Also on the set is Kimberly Elise.

The film also stars Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington, Macy Gray, Loretta Devine and Phylicia Rashad to name a few. It is expected to open in theatres on January 14, 2011.

Janet Jackson brought her sister Rebbie to the premiere of Tyler Perry’s movie Why Did I Get Married Too in New York last night.  The comedy is a sequel to his film Why Did I Get Married.  According to imdb the film is about:

Four couples reunite for their annual vacation in order to socialize and to spend time analyzing their marriages. Their intimate week in the Bahamas is disrupted by the arrival of an ex-husband determined to win back his recently remarried wife.

It opens on Friday, April 2.  At the premeire:

Janet Jackson talks  to Gotham Magazine about how she has dealt with brother Michael Jackson’s death, what we can expect from her new album, her love of acting (her new Tyler Perry film Why Did I Get Married, Too is out in April), her love of New York and a bit about her new book which is due out this year.

GOTHAM: What have you taken away from Michael’s death?
JANET JACKSON: When you hear people say life goes on, it’s really the truth. You can’t stop living. It becomes a part of you. I feel a bit selfish because there are times I feel I shouldn’t be doing this, but I enjoy my work and I have to keep doing it. I have to keep my life going. There are days that are harder than others.

G: You were filming Why Did I Get Married Too? during your brother’s tragedy….
JJ: There was a lot of drama going into it on my end. I actually went from Michael’s service—that first service we had—and left that night to go back to work. It was tough, but at the same time, it was kind of therapeutic, too. It was a good way for me to move forward and stay busy. And I love acting—it was my first love. I had my first job at seven. I got a recording contract when I was 14, so I thought I was going to be an actress. I’m really blessed.

G: What can we expect from your new album?
JJ: It’s going to be a little different. The writing is about life experiences. There’s a part of me that’s craving escapism, which is a sense of wanting to keep moving on with my work but also of coming to terms with reality. So I think it will be upbeat and light.
