After four years, Jason Lee’s ‘My Name is Earl’ has been cancelled.   What a shame.  That is a funny show!  His costar, Ethan Suplee (who plays Randy Hickey, Earl’s brother) confirmed it on his Twitter account:

“Just got the call that My Name Is Earl has been canceled. They sure did take their time with that decision.”

Another Twitter account has been created in a bid to save the sitcom by adding followers as a protest to the cancellation.  You can join here.

As well, ‘Without a Trace’ starring Anthony LaPaglia and Poppy Montgomery has been cancelled.

My Name is Earl star, Jason Lee and his girlfriend Ceren Alkac, had a baby girl on August 10 his rep confirmed.   The two were spotted picking up a marriage license in June although he will not comment on that.

Jason Lee has a four-year-old son, Pilot Inspektor, with his ex-fiancee, actress Beth Riesgraf.
