Survivor’s Jeff Probst Got Married

Jeff Probst Got Married

Survivor host Jeff Probst 50, and girlfriend Lisa Ann Russell 40, married on Monday a source confirms to People. While I'm happy for them, I may have to take to my bed and do a whole lot of crying for the rest of the day as this news has single-handedly crushed my dreams of making Jeff my next husband.

Jeff and Lisa Ann married in Los Angeles in an intimate ceremony that just included a few family and friends. Both have been married before with Lisa Ann having 2 children with Mark Paul Gosselaar.

Jeff will debut his own talk show in 2012.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Probst.

‘Survivor’ Russell Hantz Has Plans For Life After Survivor

Survivor is one of my most favorite shows of all time.  I have watched since the beginning.  Season one when the nasty, naked Richard Hatch won.  Now he mostly spends time in prison.  But anyhow, Russell Hantz is the most current “villain” and he is also the latest castoff from the show.  This was Russell’s third time on Survivor.  The first two rounds, he made it to the end, only to be screwed over by the hating jury.  This time he was ousted in the second tribal council.  There are a handful of schmucks on this season and they screwed him over.

Anyhow, he cried when he lost on Redemption Island.  That was unheard of.  This guy is tough.  Not a crybaby in the least.  He talked to L&S about this breakdown and how he really feels about Boston Rob:

What went through your mind when you first lost the challenge?
Russell: My crying had nothing to do with being sad to go home. It had everything to do with me letting my fans down. Millions of people wanted me to go far in the game and dominate. When [Survivor host] Jeff [Probst] put his head down and said, “Give me a second,” that’s what started it. Everybody expected so much more from me, and I failed.

Are you really just a big softie?
Russell: It’s heartbreaking because you give your heart, your soul, your mind, relationships, everything. This isn’t easy. For my wife, this isn’t easy; for my kids, I felt like I let my kids down. They watched the show, turned to my wife and said, “I’ve never seen Daddy cry before,” and they started crying. Because I don’t cry. Everybody knows how tough I am. In the real world, I’m tough as nails. The only time I cried in my life was when my grandfather passed away about seven years ago.

Considering how this season played out, can you still call yourself one of the best players in Survivor history?
Russell: I think that I’m one of the best players that ever played the game because you know how you judge a player? By the first time they played. Nobody knows you, and you go out there and you play. Nobody knew me onSurvivor: Heroes vs. Villains. So I went to the end twice. The first time Rob [Mariano] played, the very first time, he did not make the jury. You judge somebody on the first time they play, not when they have your playbook.

Speaking of “Boston” Rob, do you guys really hate each other?
Russell: I don’t hate-hate Rob. I don’t really hate anybody. I think Rob’s fake in real life. I don’t think he’s a legit guy.

Why do you think that?
Russell: Because I’ve seen him in real life. I know him. I know him outside the game. I got my boys’ back to the end. I don’t think Rob’s like that.

So how does it make you feel watching him in the game now that you’re out?

Russell: He’s playing great. He’s doing a great job. If Rob wins this game, I’ll give him all the credit in the world. I’m not bitter. I’m not the bitter jury. The only one who made a huge mistake in this game is Julie. Julie made a million-dollar mistake — unless she wins. She could easily go to the end, but I don’t think she’s strategic enough to go to the end and win.

Who do you hope wins it all?
Russell: I hope Rob wins the whole season, because it’s how it’s supposed to be. I told my tribe that Rob would eat them up and spit them out. I told them if they get rid of me they’re in big, big trouble, because he’s a professional. He’s in full control of his tribe. I mean it’s easy to see, anybody can see that. And then I’ll give him all the props in the world if he does. This time, he’ll shake my hand.

Russell said on the show that he won’t be back.  But he will.  Even Jeff Probst says so.  But before then, you can expect to see him on another show.  He hasn’t revealed which one yet, but my money is on The Amazing Race.

You haven’t seen the last of Russell Hantz.  Not by a long shot.  And that my friends, is a very good thing.  By the way, you can now follow Russell on Twitter, he just started, so go give him a warm welcome.

Yesterday American Idol winner Kris Allen, Sofia Vergara, Cat Deeley, Mark Burnett, Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki and my future husband Jeff Probst announced the nominations for the 2010 People’s Choice Awards which is one of the best award shows because it’s a mixture of all the genres and it’s a fun atmosphere.

2009 Emmy Award Winners & Post Parties

full_emmy_press_room_73_wenn2582924

Sorry about the lack of posting and late posting today, it’s a bit of a crazy day for me.  If you didn’t catch The Emmy’s last night, here are some shots backstage in the press area where some of the winners posed with their statute:  My cheating bastard of a future husband Jeff Probst, Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jessica Lange, Glenn Close, Kristin Chenoweth (how tiny is she, huh? She’s very cute), Michael Emerson, Toni Collette and others.

Also backstage were Michael J. Fox (LOVE him), Kaley Cuoco, Thomas Jane and Patricia Arquette.  Are they ‘together’??  I never get those effing emails.

And at the HBO and ET afterparties were people like Maria Bello, the McCord sisters (Rachel, Angel and AnnaLynne) and others.

For a complete list of the winners go here

Pics after the break

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that the nominees for reality show hosts will, in fact, be co-hosting the 2008 Emmy Awards:  my future next husband Jeff Probst, Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum.

I’m looking forward to seeing that!  I think Howie Mandel and Tom Bergeron will be hysterical.  Will you be watching?

Jeff Probst is not engaged

and he’s not even in a serious relationship!!! YEAH!!  There is hope for me :) .  Smoking hot Jeff Probst just received an Emmy nomination for hosting.

You know, it could never work with us because I’M MARRIED and my husband would be pissed I don’t like to camp and stuff.  If I can’t plug my hair dryer in it just isn’t going to happen.  Know what I mean ladies?

Maybe he’ll outgrow his “outdoorsy” phase. Who knows?
