The Black Swan premiere was held last night at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto at the 35th Toronto International Film Festival where it received a standing ovation.

Natalie Portman attended the premiere along with cast mates Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey, Vincent Cassel and Ksenia Solo.  Also attending and lending their support were Rachel Weisz, Dominic Cooper, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jenna Dewan.

The movie is:

A thriller that hones in on the relationship between a veteran ballet dancer and a rival.

That relationship is between the characters played by Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis (who didn’t attend the TIFF premiere) and of course for those of you who are fans of girl-on-girl action there is supposed to be a hot scene between these two ladies.

The movie premiere December 1, 2010 in theatres.

“My wife makes me watch ‘The Notebook’ all the time – it’s one of her favourite movies. It makes me cry and it makes her cry. But every time we put it on she makes me promise that we’ll die in bed together, which is a little weird!”

….ya think? I’m just glad his peen is in good working order.  We can all breathe a sigh of relief.

Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum premiered Dear John in London England yesterday at the Odeon Kensington. Channing’s lovely wife Jenna Dewan also attended the premiere.

After hearing the word ‘minge’ – a British expression for vagina – she decided to get the word tattooed on her foot! She explained her reason for doing so:

“It’s to make me laugh, and every time I look at it, I do.”

I got nothing, lol.  It’s kind of early for talk of vagina’s and I’m still not quite awake.  :)

Kelly Brook was buying coffee and cakes (mmmmm) at her local deli.  Every time I see Kelly Brook I think one thing:  in all the years she was dating Jason Statham she probably had thousands of hours of sex with him. Sometimes life just isn’t fair.

Nadya Suleman is at JFK and I don’t think anyone knows why.

Minka Kelly gets top honours in the gown department at  the Art of Elysium’s 3rd Annual Gala.  This wonderful organization:

encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions

Actually Minka Kelly and Rumer Willis were the best dressed ladies of the night in my humble opinion.  Someone whose outfit I didn’t get was Ashley Olsen.

She looked a little bit Stepford Wife like in her Victorian gown and way too dark lipstick. Almost like she walked out of a horror film.  I don’t mean to be mean, but I’m always baffled that someone as wealthy as her with any help available to her at her beck and call can walk out of the house looking like that.

Dancing With The Stars’ Lacey Schwimmer and Lance Bass reunited to attend Katie Holmes‘ Dizzy Feet Foundation’s inaugural celebration of Dance at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.  They look perfect together, don’t they?

Lots of other DWTS‘ past and present members in attendance:  Cheryl Burke, Gilles Marini, Kristi Yamaguchi, Mark Ballas, Derek Hough as well as Kenny Ortega, Sheila E, Nick Zano, Haylie Duff, Robert Hoffman, Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum.

Word has it that Katie Holmes exercises 4 hours a day a source tells Britain’s Look magazine:

“Katie is training for up to three or four hours a day and feels edgy if she doesn’t do enough,” When she was trying to lose the baby weight she realised how good exercise made her feel. “She does an hour or two of weight training. Then there’s cardio, 100 press-ups, 100 sit-ups and another run later in the day.”

That’s insanity!! I find it very hard to believe Katie, or anyone (except Madonna of course), spends 4 hours out of their day to work out.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big proponent of exercise, but 4 hours?? That’s craziness.

My nemesis, Rene Zellweger was at The 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute in Los Angeles (sponsored by Elle).  Recently Rene told US Magazine that a third instalment of Bridget Jones’ diary isn’t a go:

“I get asked (about) that every single day and I don’t know anything.”

Oh Paleeze.  I can imagine people asking her about Bradley Cooper every single day, but Bridget Jones’ Diary?? I doubt it.  Not that it’s not a great set of movies but let’s face facts: It’s Bradley Cooper we want to know about. B-R-A-D-L-E-Y C-O-O-P-E-R.

The gala featured a who’s who of lovely ladies  including Katie Holmes who would normally have her wardrobe approved by Fashionista Tombo but instead her little sweet pea Suri, helped pick her outfit.
