How perfect is the timing of this video considering Joan Rivers has Chelsea Handler on blast in the media for being untalented and claiming she slept her way to the top?

In this video clip, Jennifer Aniston sits with Chelsea's staff in After Lately and talks smack about the comedian saying that she's surprised she even still has a show. She also reveals Chelsea has a hygiene problem.

Whether it was strutting down the street, making an exit or sashaying down the red carpet, my fashionista radar picked up on a certain trend this week:  Anything from casual to the casually elegant.  "Casually elegant" you say?  That's right.  That may sound like a contradiction in and of itself, but as you'll see, our Fashionistas will show you it does exist!

British actress, Gemma Arterton, 25 attended the official public opening of GUCCI MUSEO at the Palazzo della Mercanzia in Florence's Piazza Signoria in celebration of Gucci's 90th anniversary on September 28, 2011.  Gemma wore a black straight line skirt with a delicious buttery-soft, camel coloured leather jacket with matching clutch.  Gemma is currently filming Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, which is an American action/horror film that will be filmed in 3-D.  It's scheduled for release on March 2, 2012. 

Jennifer Anniston steps out with hunky beau Justin Theroux (who, according to my sources, apparently shied away from the camera so as not to steal her limelight) to attend the screening of her directorial Lifetime project Five at the Skylight Soho in New York Monday night.  Five is an anthology of short films dealing with the subject of breast cancer.  The gorgeous blonde, 42, kept it casual but sexy in black trousers, with low-cut vest and peek-a-boo black lacy bra with a simple gold necklace.  Hmmm … when a guy steps away from the limelight so that his lady love can capture all the attention, you know it's the real deal. 

American actress and singer, Evan Rachel Wood, 24, rocked the red carpet wearing a white mens‑inspired YSL tuxedo jacket and pants at the premiere of her film, The Ides of March, at the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA on September 27.  The blonde beauty harmonized the suit with a black satin bustier accessorized with Neil Lane strands of pearls and black stones, and completing the look with Giuseppe Zanotti pumps and Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.  (Suffice it to say, we know who wears the pants in her house.  Just sayin'.) 

Pan Am star, Christina Ricci, 31, is flying high casually and elegantly in ever-so-comfy jeans complemented with a gold sweater and chic black jacket for her appearance, Friday, on Good Morning America  in New York City.  But what I like most is that gold studded handbag which looks like something from a James Bond flick.  Yeah, don't mess with her.  Now that's the way to travel!

Keeping up with the Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian waves to the fans as she leaves her New York City hotel recently in casual, but dressy, high-waisted black trousers with white and black blouse and Birkin handbag.  Kim has been cheering on her brother Rob weekly from the audience while he performs on Dancing with the Stars.  As you'll recall, Kim was also on DwtS.  So who do you think is the better dancer, Kim or Rob?  I know one thing that's certain.  When it comes to fashion, Kim wins that one, hands down.

Nicole Scherzinger, 33, is all legs as she packages elegant and sexy all in one in this black sequined short suit with white silk blouse and black Louboutin platform pumps when she attended the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada recently.  Short suits, sequined or not, are all the rage right now.  And from what I can see, Nicole gives new meaning to the term "short, but sweet."  Apart from her solo singing career, Nicole is now a judge on the American version of The X Factor, which premiered in September 2011.  (And a hundred bucks says that Simon Cowell keeps a defibrillator close by.)

Completing our Friday Fashionista list is Nicole Richie who is ready for fall in casual pants with tailored blazer and flowing silk chiffon scarf, while making her way through L.A. recently.  Nicole is known for her boho chic style and while this look may be a bit of a departure from that, I think it suits her quite well.  And the world's most famous maid of honour, Pippa Middleton, also keeps it casual but sweet for fall in blue jeans, tailored jacket and heart-sprinkled t-shirt while en route to work in London Monday.

Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Justin Theroux attended Christie's Auction House in New York where they purchased a 6 foot tall painting of Glenn Ligon's "Stranger #44 for $450,000! It's 'charcoal and graphite on canvas'. One would think for $450,000 it should be gold or platinum but it's charcoal. I'm going to mosey on over to my fireplace, grab a piece of charcoal and make something pretty for Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux.

The killer in all this is that the painting was estimated to be worth $150,000 to $200,000! So basically Jen paid double its value. I remember watching a program on TV (can not recall which one) in which someone was saying that he has his own money (despite the fact none of us had heard of him prior to him hooking up with Jennifer Aniston). I just hope he doesn't bleed her dry and is a gold digging biotch.

Apparently Justin did the bidding for Jennifer and when he won she clapped 'enthusiastically'. The good part in all this is the proceeds are to help raise money for Artists For Haiti.

So says magazine publications Ok! Magazine and US Weekly! I find it kind of difficult to believe that Brad Pitt is jealous that Jennifer Aniston has finally found happiness (with Justin Theroux) but according to a source to Ok! Magazine, Brad isn't just jealous he has a little vicious streak in him:

“Brad’s got a real competitive, vicious streak, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s jealous,” a Jen pal tells OK!. “Justin is everything Brad couldn’t be. He adores Jen; Jen is deeply in love with Justin. And she’d fallen in and out of love with Brad during their marriage.

“Truth be told, they were both bored. Jen saw Brad as a dull stoner. But Justin is a poet and an author and well-educated and amazing.”

Both publications are saying his remarks made in Parade magazine in which he basically said marriage to Jennifer Aniston was boring, and then later retracted that saying it was taken out of context (yeah, right), were a result of his competitive nature and that it is killing him seeing his ex-wife (whom he left to be with current love Angelina Jolie) so happy and talking marriage and babies.

A source to Us Magazine is saying that Jen's 'team' went ballistic and got Brad's 'team' involved:

"no one believes his words were taken out of context — he said what he said. I do hear that he's remorseful."

And although Pitt is clearly blissed out with Jolie, 36, and their six kids, "We think he's jealous she's in love," the source says.

I call B.S. on this with a capital B. While perhaps some people are the type that want what they don't have when it comes to relationships and now that she's truly moved on it's making him second-guess himself, I can not believe he is jealous of her happiness. Unless of course he's coming to the realization that he's so screwed and stuck with Angelina Jolie and this is but a bitter reminder.

However sometimes where there is smoke there is fire and this could be a case of that.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are out and about in New York City looking like their lost if you ask me (not necessarily in the picture above but the others). Considering they are both New Yorkers I'm thinking I'm probably wrong.

With ex-husband Brad Pitt's latest insults hurled at Jennifer  through his Parade Magazine interview and subsequent  'oh I didn't mean it that way' insincere apology (I'm thinking maybe my dislike for him is clouding my judgment but I don't care), people are expecting Jennifer Aniston to shrivel up and die and be pathetic and hide away in her apartment out of humiliation.

And if Jen haters don't think that they think she's probably doing this on purpose so as not to look pathetic. Maybe the girl needs a meal or some women's personal hygiene products?

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married for 5 years and they split up 6 years ago. She's over him. And even if she isn't over him, the more he flaps his gums in the media the easier it is for her to be over him.

People are of the opinion the Jada Pinkett Smith talks way too much about her sex life with Will Smith to the point it's almost as though she's overcompensating. I have to wonder if it's the same deal for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?

Either way here's Jen and Justin out and about in New York City being over Brad Pitt. Deal.

Brad Pitt has issued a statement after an interview he gave with Parade magazine was released and in it it appeared he was insulting Jennifer Aniston in their marriage saying it was dull.  He was quoted as saying:

"It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself," Pitt said about the tail-end of his marriage to Aniston, which lasted from 2000 to 2005. "I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't."

He also lamented that he spent much of the '90s "trying to hide out," adding, "I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out."

We all tore the Bradster a new one because it's like WTF is wrong with you saying something like that after all of these years after you left the woman for Angelina Jolie. It's like pouring salt into a wound.  Then he goes on to say about Angelina:

"I'm satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much. A family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss," he said. "That's the trade-off. But I'll take it all. … One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I'm so happy to have her."

That statement you can almost interpret as a jab being in there, but Brad is so very sad by the way it was all interpreted and issued this statement:

"It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly," he explained in the statement released through his talent agency. "The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself — and that, I am responsible for."

Are you buying his apology? I mean he could have elaborated in the Parade interview. The dude has been in show business long enough to know that what he said was bound to be interpreted. Remember Angelina Jolie doesn't have a PR person. She is a MASTERMIND at that game. So perhaps Brad learned a thing or two from her and this is all very calculated. When you lose trust in someone it's kind of hard to believe anything that comes out of their mouth. It's like crying wolf, you know?
