The 75th Los Angeles' Mission of serving Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless took place yesterday where three of Hollywood's most recent single ladies Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Zoe Saldana came together to give back.

Jennifer recently split from her boyfriend whose name I didn't bother to learn because why bother. And of course Kim's split from Kris Humphries has been well-documented for the last month. Zoe Saldana's split from her long-term boyfriend (and fiance) Keith Britton of 11 years was probably the most surprising of all.

But on to the important thing: giving back. Also joining them were Zoe's sister Cicely, the legendary Kirk Douglas and his wife Anne and the uber-sexy Blair Underwood among others.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Signs on For Law & Order: SVU

The deal is all but signed!  She might be single and she might not have her own show… but Jennifer Love Hewitt is about to sign on for a role on Law & Order: SVU.  Mariska Hargitay’s character, Olivia Benson is going to get a promotion on the show and Hewitt is going to fill that spot.

Mariska has made it clear that she’s going to be cutting back on her hours… and that is obviously happening but she’s keeping her salary in tact.  This being said, she’s got her deal for the 13th season locked in.  On the other hand, Christopher Meloni has not signed on.  He wants a raise and NBC is cheap as hell, so we know this is going totake a bit to clear up.  I don’t think they will let him go though.

Anne Lopez (ex-wife of George Lopez) is looking fabulous which we know is the best revenge when a man leaves a woman. I hope she got her kidney back. Asshole.

Jesse James and Kat Von D made an appearance looking quite cleaned up. Her dress is lovely but all those tats kind of take away from the elegance of it all. There’s having tattoos and then there is Kat Von D.  I love how they are clinging to each other for dear life. They must feel the daggers from the eyes of everyone looking at them.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Alyssa Milano embrace at the Los Angeles Mission yesterday where they took time out of their own Christmas celebrations served food to the homeless.  I love that these two are so giving. Jennifer is joined by her boyfriend Alex Beh.

Other celebrities giving back include Zachary Levi, Gilles Marini (his wife and son), Brandy, and Stephanie Pratt.
