Jennifer Love Hewitt knows only too well what it feels like to have the media make fun of your weight and she has come to the defence of Dancing With the Stars’ Cheryl Burke who gained 5 pounds over the summer and has become a gossip target for the same journalists who made fun of Jennifer.

Jennifer Love Hewitt says:

“I think her dancing is what everyone needs to be concentrating on. Cheryl is an incredible dancer. She works her butt off to impress people every single week on Dancing With the Stars, and I just think she’s fantastic.”

If you think about it, the tabloids go after women and their appearance at great lengths and rarely go after the guys.  Oh they do, don’t get me wrong, but never with the same intensity and ferocity they do with the women.  Interesting, huh?

Julianne Hough and brother Derek Hough helped Miley Cyrus celebrate her 16th Birthday at Disneyland along with a bunch of other stars:  Steve Carrell, Vanessa Williams, Demi Lovato, Sela Ward and her children, Cindy Crawford and her children, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall.
